Their reasons are easy to understand. They think Courts work like Law and Order where you can win on technicalities not understanding that what Casey says in the courtroom actually applies to them, because having someone tell other people what you want on your behalf then getting mad that Casey wont partake in their FigOps, because they'd rather listen to Shane over the actual lawyers they paid for, is something only those as exceptional as they are would do.

How much are you willing to bet they came up with the plan to hire a new lawyer to file a TCPA for them on their secret discord without consulting Casey then dramatically undersold how fucked they were in this case to their new Superlawyer? How much are you willing to bet Casey woke up this morning ready to do the deposition best he could and is now hearing about this on his lunchbreak but can't stop what he's doing to deal with this?

I know you read here Casey. You may as well just quit and cite your clients refusal to listen to ANYTHING you say.
I am unironically willing to bet this

Oh god if they actually thought up, on their own, an oh-so-ingenious plan to file a TCPA through another lawyer after Vic's depo today and never consulted Casey on this, I cannot even imagine how pissed Casey would be lmfao. I'm no legal scholar, but I'm pretty sure that would literally fuck their entire case. The court doesn't just seek sanctions on legal counsel, they go after involved parties as well. I really hope they aren't stupid enough to try and pull that shit.

How good are the odds that they'll question Vic about Nick/Nick's show and try to get him to say something negative or disavowing to push the narrative on twitter that even Vic doesn't approve of Nick?

They might, but it'd be futile. Nick has already said multiple times that he knows Vic wouldn't approve, and he's okay with that, because Vic doesn't control him and neither does Ty.

matter of fact he is making fun of the fact that when he gets his hands on any document he WILL cover them even if Ty was against it.

the first one will not work either since legally speaking there are 4 seperate defendants that can be different levels of guilty so there will be technically 4 seperate verdicts. Ron and Monica are basically treated as one by most but officially they are 2 seperate clients that just share their lawyers for convenience. Funimation has 0 Agency in MoRons verdict as a result and let's say every guilty party were to owe Vic 1 million$ that would mean Funi would just dish out their part and yeet off. Never to talk to MoRon or Marchi about it.
Isn't Texas one of those states where if one or more defendants can pay the whole judgement they are liable to and then must seek financial compensation from the other defendants? I swear Nick mentioned that very early on.

oh that might be a thing. I haven't looked enough into texas specific law to find such a thing but it definitely sounds like something that would happen in Texas.

At the risk of giving them ideas, Wondering if theyll use the con photos of vic and nick together to try and suggest that vic does actually approve. I mean you can befriend someone and not approve of everything about them, but obviously to people like those on kickvic, it is purity or nothing.

honestly they would definitely have those pics on hand if they asked if he approved of Nick assuming they have a single combined braincell among them all.

Yep, it is. The deep pocketed one pays the judgement and the other parties have to work it out later.

That is quite optimistic to assume they have that braincell, but you are most likely right. If I was going to commit ongoing defamation and try to smear a target, that is something I would do.

They are that stupid. They actually talk directly to Shane outside of dunking on him 100% of the time

"Casey said he wouldn't but surely that means another lawyer can, right?"-MoRon
"They totally can" -ShoeEater

It'd be hilarious if they tried convincing Marchi/Funi's lawyer or were planning to but only stopped when they realized it wouldn't cover MoRon, which is why they went so far as to hire yet another Super Lolyer.

No no no they TOTALLY can. Dont worry shane if you are reading this and you gave them that advice, it is TOTALLY legit. Dont let the haters on KF tell you otherwise. It will not provide entertainment for the farms and the judge will take their side for sure.

So the big thing that KickVic is going on about is Ty not standing up for the judge. Like come on. Its like you purposely forget the amount the judge was pissed off at Casey
