@Wilhelm Bittrich I must agree with @AnOminous here, I think our(Germany) biggest #metoo moment in recent history was Jörg Kachelmann(EN wiki).
This case predates #metoo.
My English isn't the best, so I hope it's understandable.

Claudia Simone Dinkel accused popular weatherman Jörg Kachelmann on Febuary 9th 2010 of rape.
On March 20th 2010 Kachelmann was taken into investigative custody on suspicion of raping Claudia D. with whom he had an intimate relationship, and spend over 130 days in pre-trial detention.
He was released on July 29, 2010 due to lies and disagreements in the statements of his accusers.
The MSM dragged his name through the mud.
The trial ended on May 31th 2011 in acquittal.
Aftermath:
Kachelmann dragged media outlets and Claudia into civil court.
He filed a claim for damages against Claudia in order to reimburse the appraisers for the costs of 13,353 euros.
He won and got 7,000 euros.
On 30 September 2015, he obtained a court ruling ordering the Axel Springer publishing group to pay Kachelmann 635,000 euros in compensation for the negative media coverage in its newspapers and online news services, the highest compensation in such ruling ever in German judicial history.
It was later reduced to 395,000 euros.
In 2017 the Public prosecutor's office investigated Claudia D. because of false imprisonment, but later stopped the investigation.(No punishment)
The Public prosecutor's office of Mannheim made false statements about the process and Kachelmann.
Kachelmann goes to court and wins again.
The judges find that because of the prosecutors' false testimony the accusations of rape are with Kachelmann to this day.
The representative of the public prosecutor's office has then signed a cease and desist letter.
You can accuse a man of rape, take everything from him (even his freedom) and pay 7000 euros for that.

To be quite frank, that's 7000 Euros more than Vic will get, even if he wins the 1 million dollar in damages from MoRon, it's unenforcable and in the end he gets jackshit.
Also do not forget Kachelmann made a comeback and is in present TV, Media again and doing quite well financially.
Vic? I highly doubt that Vic will ever work as a VA again, Rooster Teeth, Funi and so on are all part of the SJW mob, to think that anyone of these outlets will rehire him again, is naive at best.
And don't even think that MoRon will stop with their defamation, they most possibly won't do it themselves, that's the future job of shit heels like Shane and Marzgurl.
At the end of the day Vic has won a pyrrhic victory and still has lost a successful carreer.

Funimation has the dosh to pay Vic, so he will win x millions in the lawsuit and they (or Sony, their dad) will be forced to pay it. Then Marchi and Monica will probably lose their jobs with Funimation as they try to evade paying their share back to Funimation.
Vic probably won't work with Funimation unless the later shockwaves of this lawsuit (Igor, Iago, etc) end up causing enough of a restructure to cause the new team to welcome him back, but there's plenty of other dubbing companies he can work with. He can also work in video games. Really, if his name is cleared, this is much less dire for him than it seems.
As a further thought, it seems like people forget this is only phase one of the lawsuit. MoRon are so unbelievably loud and stupid it's easy to be distracted, but Vic is also suing Funimation, and Ty has already made it clear that the discovery gained in this lawsuit will be used to drag in the other conspirators (Iago, Igor, Renfeld, whoever else they find) for the next set of lawsuits, and then if there's enough money left, maybe go for a third to mop up any idiots left behind.
The end goal of suing the three stooges isn't that important, they're just the door into suing Funimation and outing the real civil conspiracy.
