The rumor is that Ron Toye raped and murdered a young girl in 1990. I have never heard Ron Toye deny this rumor or provide evidence that he did not rape and murder a young girl in 1990. So, it's probably safe to assume the sworn affidavits are nothing but hearsay knowing these folks. But, what I'm curious about regarding the story of the 3 underage girls is the fact Manish contrarian mentions in her thread that the parents of the girls declined to press charges after being approach by staff to do so, allegedly. If that's the case and I'm to believe these allegations are true, why aren't the parents being put on blast for not defending their kids, for one. And two, if the con didn't think it important enough to act on then, I'm curious just who they got to write sworn affidavits changing their tune, if not the same people who they claim failed to act before.

Sorry if I'm all over the place, I just find this story to be a real head scratcher given the information Manish contrarian has so graciously provided.

Even though affidavits are sworn by virtue of being affidavits, and are otherwise written hearsay?

Forget the matter of where these affidavits are supposed to be, or even the fact that if there were affidavits taken, the law was involved because there would have to be someone authorized to administer the oaths-- you don't know what an affidavit is.

Go to sleep.

The imprecise language gives it away, too. "around this case." An affidavit is never "around" a case. It's IN the case. It is a matter of legal record, or it isn't really an affidavit, it's just a piece of paper that you likely paid to have notarized.

Side note: Fuck notarial services at US embassies. I had to get my marriage affidavit and passport copy notarized at the US embassy in Bangkok to get married there, and it was $50 per signature. $100 for like 5 minutes of time and 2 signatures.

It's not even that. Can you imagine what a blow it is to their public image that they tried to drive a man to suicide and destitution and used the suffering of actual victims as a blade to shank him with? They can lose a million dollars, they can go bankrupt, they will masochistically suffer any punishment as long as their public face is clean, because to these people, their public face is a mask to hide how ugly they are inside.

It's the sin of envy in it's purest form, as they can never be as beautiful spiritually, on the inside, as Vic (or physically since even with the gayest pants ever, Vic is a giga-chad while they need to hide behind other people to hide their rotund belly), who doesn't have to hide like they do. Imagine having to put on an act for fans and getting tired quickly or dodging them entirely and then seeing Vic do it for 8 hours straight with no breaks.

Sworn affidavits, unless corroborated by other evidence, have almost zero impact in the measurement of evidence for and against. Just bringing in affidavits without supporting them otherwise is basically useless, especially if you can't produce the actual person to be questioned about their statements.

Wasn't the story that Tekko banned him but the new owners brought him back? Because in their statement, the new con runner says they took over in 2013, but Vic was a Tekko guest in 2010.

"I don't recall" is good for answering questions about intent, implication, or some other thing that's not recorded. It's not a good answer for "Hey, do you remember tweeting this thing literally in the past few months?" That is not standard. That is being obstructive, and it's plain to see, especially in the context of literally everything else the defendants have done so far. Not that I disbelieve you, but I hadn't heard the story about how Ron Toye raped and murdered a young girl in 1990. If true, that is an incredibly shocking and horrific allegation. I would think if it WERE actually true, then we'd have heard more about how Ron Toye raped and murdered a young girl in 1990, but seeing as I have no heard anything about that I have to call BS. I understand the irony in making him defend baseless allegations, but I for one think it's horribly irresponsible to just throw out malicious tales about how Ron Toye raped and murdered a young girl in 1990.
