Its hard to say exactly, but it definitely became more prominent when being offended gave the offended an implicit form of social power over the offender. Things seem to be swinging away from that mentality a little (CD Projekt Red telling whiners to bug off) but its still in limited instances.

All I can say on the matter to avoid going too off topic.

I absolutely believe the Crimson Chin on this one. Vic absolutely stalked Iijima and ran a pedo train through Tekko 2007 that all the convention staff knew about.

That's why both attended Tekko 2010.

These are people that believe someones word alone is all the evidence they need in this case. I'm going to go out on a limb and say their brilliant strategy going forward is to use the sworn statements to prove people were accusing Vic of being a predator back in 2007 so everything the defendants said can't be defamatory. Basically the same bs they've been running with only this time they're going to try using sworn affidavits to back them up.

What they don't seem to get is that an affadavit isn't a silver bullet but a double eedge sword. It means you're willing to, under threat of perjury, go down and testify it's as you say. The problem is, you still have to nut up and get deposed and grilled on your statement that you now cannot walk back on because you'd perjure yourself, assuming it doesn't get tossed out right away as hearsay due to being a second/third/fourthhand account.

Also, better hope the ones making the affadavit weren't part of the retarded gayops discord because that'd be perjury AND seal the deal on civil conspiracy.

That's if they have any sworn affidavits to begin with. Even if somehow they managed to get a bunch of people to make a statement and get it signed off by somebody qualified to take an affidavit under oath it doesn't mean it's admissible in the current case. They would also likely have to be cross examined and I wonder how into this idea they will be when they need to find money for legal advice.

So not to change topics, but I looked up bubbafest out of curiosity and noticed two things of interest.
1. Dameon Clarke, another former Funi VA and voice of cell will be a guest. This is pretty big as Dameon is regarded as one of the big names of Funimation's earlier days.
2. Nikolai coster-waldau is a guest. The con run by the guy kickvicers made fun of was able to book Jamie Lannister.
