Also, it's like people have pointed out before, all the other issues aside, what the hell is an 'anime prop'? Did he offer them powdered donuts? Props are a visual aid. And Vic dubs, so they wouldn't even possibly have some...reference item or something used by the animators or sound effect creators. Even ignoring the convenient little outs like 'the whole con staff changed' and 'parents chose not to press charges', basic logical things like 'how did he sneak three kids into his hotel room', 'how did he slip the leash' and 'prop???' tear the story apart. It's like she stole the story from some actor's story, and forgot to change the wording into something that made sense.

There's a really big problem with this allegation. Vic and Mari are both actors. Neither have voice direction, script writing or audio editing credits for Macross. Anime dubs record each actor individually. How would Vic get the opportunity to constantly blame Mari for her friend's suicide throughout the show's production if he rarely ever saw her? If Vic was such a bother to Mari, why did they attend the same conventions multiple times afterwards?

This is a strong game of autistic telephone. Mari and Vic recorded a commentary track for a Macross DVD. I don't have that disc, so I'm going to have to take this Gamefaqs sperg at his word.

I think the funniest thing about Tekko 2018 (A year before this whole shiz went down) is that it wasn't just Vic there. You also had Monica and ProZD or whatever the hell his name is. So one of the defendents and some nameless nobody who sided with the KickVic crowd. They were in the same panel and they were all acting buddy buddy during the entire thing. If I remember, Vic even hugged Monica as they were getting on stage.

In fact, everyone at the con seemed excited to see Vic. Even on the last signing, the line went outside of the rope barricades they set up in the middle of the exhibition hall they used. I was in the line for about 2 hours before I finally met the guy. Being one of the few people who didn't know who the heck he is, I thought he was going to be a tool with his picture, but on meeting him, he was actually really cool.

... Well that's ironic. In Macross, especially Do You Remember Love, the story goes that Hikaru goes for Minmay, then Misa. Minmay briefly (yet understandably) becomes a THOT, but eventually accepts the relationship.

Probably because for a large part it's attitude. While there are fans of people like Sabat, Rial etc, most folks can smell the fact they're phoning a lot of it in. They're there for the paycheck and boom and done. We know from utterances of some that they even outright hate their smelly unwashed fans.

Vic? Sean? Those guys are geeks and fans too. They remember people they speak to, in Vic's case even remembering personal life stuff when he sees them again months or even years afterwards. That's the difference between a lot of them and many of them just don't understand or get it. Too many of them treat it like a job clock in and clock out.

But Vic? This is his life and it's what makes the whole Machiavellian attempt bullshittery even more gauling.

This story is full of holes.
First they say the 3 girls were targeted when Vic "slipped away from his handlers".
In the next breath the story turns into "a Tekko staffer witnessed Vic taking an underage fan into a room alone."

Did staff know where Vic was or didn't they?

Again, I would also like to know, if the staffer witnessed an assault on a minor, why that staffer didn't contact police immediately. The only answer I've seen so far is "well, without knowing them, my guess is maybe they didn't feel they were in the position to have a headline guest interrogated by the police."
Whatever the answer they give to the question it isn't going to cut it, because there's no excuse for not reporting an incident like that if the story is true.
I've never seen such a cowardly bunch that belittle sexual assault on a minor like these people do.
I really hope crimson chin gets deposed, along with whoever else submitted sworn affidavits, so maybe we can get answers to some of these questions.

I don't mean to rant, but the way these creatures use child sexual abuse as a tool to benefit them and tear others down, while simulestanously defending a pedophile in Sarah's case, makes me sick.
