From what I can glean from his public Patreon posts, his family was evicted from their house which he had been living in after abandoning his flooded basement. His mom somehow found a new house, but he's trying to get away from his family for good. In the meantime he's storing all his stuff at his mom's new place and hiding the details about where they are or what he's planning to do exactly. Wherever he is, he's making it seem like it's far across the country.

I assumed the flooded basement was in his family's house because he took a lot of time cleaning it and paying people to clean it and also has stated in the past one of his sisters is sick so he has helped take care of her at home. Guess he is going to try and do his own thing before it's too late.

I don't know why people keep putting this guy on a pedestal. He's supposed to be a creative genius but he doesn't produce much, can't edit for shit and just mumbles nonsense on podcasts awkwardly. He's the worst of the bunch.

I think it is primarily because 1) In the MLP community they still consider his Horseshoe Finale to be one of the best works a fan has made. 2) Digibro especially hypes up Endless Jess as one of his favorite content creators and this spreads to fans of other PCP members and so forth. I think he is okay and sometimes good, but he is so inconsistent that I can't put him anywhere near as high as Digi does.

I've been watching Digi since essentially around the pony days, and never had I seen his content such a wreck. Like seriously, uploading side-channel videos to the main channel was an AWFUL idea. He's doing the best on Patreon than he has ever been doing before. YouTube sub count and view counts don't really matter if your fanbase is loyal enough to support you on Patreon. Mumkey Jones was making a living off of his Patreon back when he had like fucking 10K subs. In fact, flooding the main channel has only made him LOSE subscribers. He really needs to stick back to his old side-channels. It'll be way more beneficial to him in the long run.

He's a lazy hack and he'd rather ruin his main channel instead of editing videos like the Davoo did. He's basically transformed the main channel into what his older Digibro After Dark channel was like, before after dark became the shitty rants channel. The only reason why his Patreon is doing better than ever is the rants. If he stops doing the rants, he's fucked. If he does less rants, he's fucked. If his fans don't pay for rants anymore, he's fucked. He killed his main channel and it won't be getting any growth anymore, that's really bad because it was the best way he could attract new patrons through edited analysis videos but that's history.

It's a severe case of losing enthusiasm for that in which you are passionate. Ever since the anime industry went in a downward spiral, with a few hidden gems here and there, Digi seems to be shit out of luck when it comes to his "bread and butter", .Regarding opening up potential revenue streams - his music career, I AM GAMES and other side projects have gotten him nowhere, so I doubt he'll be able to lift himself out from his predicament, especially when he still has to pay his taxes, as referenced in his rant video about travelling to Japan.
Oh, and if I might add, he still exhibits this quixotic delusion of what Japan is like, and says he and May might move there "If
they truly love it there and can't leave." I believe he's set to go down further down into the shitter if his dwindling subcount is anything to go by, especially when the next recession (or even depression) is right around the corner.

Digi always seems to go through phases where he tries something new on his main channel. Pony, long analysis of anime, 90s anime for a while, whatever was going on with the weed, games, a bunch of things. If you look at his video history, it would be like cutting a tree and counting the rings to see what he was obsessing over that year.
My guess, he’ll slip back to normal in a little bit and post side channel stuff in the side channels again.

I agree that the anime industry hasn't been looking great, especially recently, but I wish Digi would be honest to himself and to his fans. He has to admit he isn't interested in anime anymore and he should stop lying when he says he believes current seasonal anime doesn't suck. This time around he's trying to run off to making videos about video games. There is no demand for his half-assed shitty opinions on games he thinks he's nostalgic for. At this point the likelyhood of him ever moving to Japan is the same as him learning Japanese or the PCP headquarters happening - never. He hasn't even visited Japan, that shows you how much he wants to move there, he could have at least visited for a few days over the last few years but it never happened because he doesn't want to be there. Digi should have gotten a new editor for the main channel instead of destroying his main growth opportunity. He also killed his after dark channel. He did all this damage to himself, in an impressively short timespan. I also don't see him getting out of this one, his decisions this time were actually disastrous and the consequences will be harshly felt in the long term.
He's always been a lazy piece of shit hack but the drugs and girlfriend made him go full lazy cunt. That rant patreon money ruined him completely. Now he thinks he can literally do anything he wants, I wouldn't be shocked if he thinks he's god or something like that. In his mind, he can get away with spitting out some of the lowest quality content he's ever made, because he's making more money than ever. He knows he's shitting on his hardcore fanbase (the Patreon people), but the question is, for how long will they eat all his shit?
I'm personally enjoying the decline and I look forward to seeing what further developments happen.
