I think it was a hostile takeover by his intern. She was really sour about having to put up show updates in the wee hours of the morning on the weekend.

Do you have proof of the younger VAs doing this? Not that I would beat off to it. I just assumed the hentai era for English VAs was long gone. Also scale of 1-10 how pathetic is Sheh's porn career, she needs to be knocked down a peg.

Probably waiting to see how the lawsuit will go, waiting until one wins or loses to pick whether or not FUNi is worth the risk is probably the best idea from a company's perspective. It probably doesn't help that it sounds like Sabat was being a huge bitch about the changing of the tour name to them at KamehaCon and that's seemingly the last time I've seen a Japanese Toei VA

Obviously gotta wait for confirmation but I can see how this is likely happening.

Conventions likely go through Toei and other anime studios to get Japanese guests because I don't see them talking to their talent agencies. And whatever Toei is hearing about the situation can't be spun in any positive light especially pertaining to their talent pool. Imagine someone trying to pull this metoo shit on the foreign guests. Catch them when they don't have a translator nearby to defend themselves and they are absolutely fucked.
