I've actually referenced Days of Rage here. It's a damn good book, along with Burrough's other one, Public Enemies.

Status 451's review is also a good informal thumbnail of the high points. I still can't get over how the FALN fucking parasitized the Episcopal Church like a goddamn fungal zombie in The Last of Us.

The good part, though, is that the left still hasn't learned its lesson after the Prairie Fire debacle, and are still having problems with trying to keep opposing idpol groups from each others' throats.

The alt right did that themselves, they were more than capable of the requisite infighting. Roberta Kaplan's post charlotesville lawsuit did more to get them off the streets than a bunch of anarchist larpers ever did. Mike Enoch only got out of it because he didn't take it sitting down, but most AR people don't have the legal defense funds sitting around that our commie friends do. Antifa worked as a sort of wedge, but ultimately did squat other than provide the necessary violence.

Funny choice of words. One of their most recent victims literally has brain damage. Another was hit in the head with a crowbar. And while they haven't bombed any homes, they've been more than willing to torch cars and businesses in the past.

Antifa has elevated things to the point where any jury outside of Portland (and probably even a Portland jury, on a good day) would find lethal self defense justified at times. Like when someone is beating you with a crowbar.

So by all means. Keep on asking people to "calm down". As long as you're willing to stay silent when some of your LARPers get shot, and not cry out for "justice".
