Extra Credits - leftie gaming channel that had two of its members accused of "misconduct" in only 2 months

Did she correct some things a month later?
She never did, I failed history
Yeah, It's a shame he left. He was the biggest reason I liked EC, as despite being very left wing, he was never condescending at all. He was the idealist of the group, and I honestly believed he wanted to inspire people.
He was the most annoying part of Extra Credits, I can't stand his voice with that squeaky filter
The dude sounds like the narrator of 'spirit scinece'

The thing about this video I find the most striking is the sheer lack of nuance. Not about the Nazi parts, we all know that 1940s germany was the literal worst thing the literal worst race of people on the planet ever did, bar none, Hitler = satan, etc etc, etc. But the terrorism angle. I sympathize with the IRA and Hezbollah, and both are either actual terrorists or a group that is labelled terrorists. The idea that a modern wargame wouldn't allow for playing as irregulars that are commonly seen on modern battlefields makes no sense. It also amuses me that the question of "if the liberal world order is so good, why do all these people constantly violently oppose it?" never crosses their minds. And I don't mean to get preachy on that issue, I would at least expect some form of struggling with the issue moreso than terrorism = bad. Hell if these morons had paid attention in their poli-sci 101 courses, they might've even picked up on this, lol.

Edit, this comment section is a amazing, I'll spoiler a few of my favorites.

Here is a good response video to EC's Stop Normalizing Nazi's video

You also forgot that USA ,UK and Russia ,did also more war atrocities than the nazis.

The video is so wrong in so many levels i just don't know where to begin. Like, the idea of antagonism in between PVP focused games went straight over their heads. i'm really wondering what do they have to say about people that make historical recreations and chose to roleplay as nazis. they must think they're the fucking devil or something.

Also i like how they put Rainbow 6 siege as en example when their characters iirc have their own morals lorewise. fucking up the point they're trying to make. i think their perfect game would be making something like a pvp carebear game where you have to give hugs to every player and everyone wins more or less depending of how many hugs they gave to people. i don't see other way to cater to their shenanigans.

That dumb bitch who said that dislikes are good because they're engagement, I'll just post this again like I do every time someone on YouTube says "dislikes are good"

A few dislikes is fine, considered normal by the algorithm, and does count as engagement, roughly by a ratio of 1 dislikes to 10 likes.

The opposite scenario? Well, your shit video gets buried and hidden in searches because the search engine considers it completely and utterly fucking irrelevant!
