Yeah, that was Dan. He left Extra Credits to make his own channel, where he plays games for fun. He never gave a real reason as to why, but if I had the guess, I think Dan left do to all the allegations against James; probably wanted to jump ship as soon as possible. And honestly, all the better for it.

I might be speaking for myself here, but I'm happy that Dan's where he's at. He's an SJW, sure, but not nearly as bad and cringey as James and all the others. And he has a general enthusiasm for what he does. That's just me, though.

Yeah, It's a shame he left. He was the biggest reason I liked EC, as despite being very left wing, he was never condescending at all. He was the idealist of the group, and I honestly believed he wanted to inspire people.

As for James... I suspect he wrote their latest episode.

holy shit even chris home brew porn is easier to watch, then this abortion of a video. how was anyone in their team able to say, yes this sound fine and is a reasonable argument to make. i'm unable to watch the video to the end but did they ever mention hearts of iron the game where you are able to start ww2 as germany?

It takes some serious mental gymnastics to take issue with playing as axis forces in a historical video game. How the fuck to you expect to make a game entertaining with the allies killing each other, especially when you get die-hard's (myself included) who love the historical accuracy in titles like rising storm 2 Vietnam or red orchestra 2. If people have such an issue with it then they can just swap fucking teams.

Arch did a pretty good response to the whole situation, the guy is very much a history buff with WW2 and the Wehrmacht in particular so it seems pretty close to his heart.
