I've heard a lot of things about Anime Expo; lines are long, it's in hot and sunny California, where sometimes ventilation will not breathe through, and there are hiccups in organizing....

Like, I'm sorry? This is one of the biggest anime conventions in the United States, out in what, California? That draws about 100,000 registering members and even more foot traffic from one day guests and visitors? Tough shit, drive out in LA and NYC traffic in rush hour, Kaylyn Dickison and Lost_Pause_.

Like, people act like anime conventions aren't popular or that they all should be as efficient as a 3rd Reich shower facility.

So yeah, shit gets backed up and until the doors officially open, nobody can go anywhere; and that example is for a convention that topped out at 40,000 people. Now triple that, and you've got what AX is likely dealing with.

Background: Jared is a old youtuber, divorces his wife on twitter, Heidi (soon to be ex-wife) talked about his behavior online, people come out of the woodworks to share dick pics he solicited to others (including minors), and was banging the wife of Ross from Game Grumps, Heidi is just as bad and allowed that behavior to go on while she was banging dudes as well, so she tries to win pity points too.

For me this is just ironic because of Thotmore's past behavior with Todd and trying to win not only sympathy for Heidi, but also herself as though people would have forgotten the dumb shit she's done too.

If you pay attention to their social media activity, it seems like they make these controversial posts for attention. Compare these posts to their mundane activity and see the difference in interactions or Likes or Hearts.

This is their dopamine hit, they are nothing without allegations of sexual assault or rape. It's similar to the LGBT people who have no personality outside of being gay like James McSomething. It's the corruption of their ego.

Edit: Nobody really have a fuck or knew who these people were until they made a big deal out of it. Now it's backfiring. I mean, who the fuck was Thotmore, Armzgurl, or Bulma something before the clown fiesta?

Never got to go to the parks to hang out with friends because social networking and internet let everyone be connected without having to leave the house, and they get all the attention they want/need from instagram, twitter, etc.

So yeah, this is the world we're building and it's far different from the one we grew up in. Mostly because people get used to having absolutely no responsibility for their actions cause, it's the internet and it's not real - right?

I never said that their idea of cool is popular with the majority. How else are they going to be noticed? Ironically enough, the only one I had vaguely heard of before all of this happening (outside of obvious ones like Sabat and Schemmel) was Marzgurl since I was familiar with Channel Awesome.

Nick and TUG are very forthright about their motivations. There's absolutely no or very little veil, and they are unapologetic about being capitalists. They full-well tell people that they will hook up a plow and make money off of other's stupidity.

People like Monica, MarzGurl, etc. They try and pretend that they're virtuous and kind; that they're genuine and that they have no flaws, and should be adored - yet they do the EXACT. SAME. SHIT.

Like, for me - I don't care if someone wants to start up a twitch channel, point the camera at their tits and bounce. That's up to them. When I start to take issue, is when that person then tries to cry about being exploited for virtue points, when they know full well what's going on.

I've done research on AX a few times because people love to hold it out as a big boy con who blacklisted Vic and thrives. AX seems to have a history of being a disaster over the past decade, so it's entirely possible that he actually just chooses not to go there because it's annoying to deal with.

Nick said he'd update it after gloating and rubbing faces in it for a day. Amount is unknown, I feel he should only go to 250k because working towards smaller goals is frequently more achievable and faster than long off goals. He raised ~12k in 3.5h tonight due to the goal of 200k, so why not raise a similar amount sooner to reach another goal.
