Anno was credited and paid, but as much as the concept was passed down from Hayao Miyazaki himself, he was given little creative control, which is a fate worse than being unpaid and uncredited. Granted, Gainax lost 80 million yen from that venture financially.

She really, really did luck out big time with P4.

When's the last time she had a major role in an anime? The only other fairly recent thing of note I can think of beyond P4 is the infamous redub of Silent Hill 2 and 3 in which she voiced Heather Mason and did a shitty job.

Ah, this topic. I think it's my constant naivety of thinking that weeaboo is just an insult than it actually having legitimate cultural weight to it, like how people who use it have always known of the anime spergs that take their fandom too seriously with eyewitness evidence, and it's not just some stupid slur. I sometimes get those confused with people who have an interest in Japanese culture and hobbies and aren't idiots.

However, on the topic of voice actors for anime, I can attest that a lot of them aren't really fans or enthusiastic about the work, and I can hardly say that they would be weeaboos. According to someone I hung out with at a convention, a big namer who can be called a guest of honor, he admitted that the majority of voice actors who come in are in for the money and don't really like the media given. Amanda falls into that category even further because of that little drawing board bit. I was already appalled at that and Amanda Winn Lee being a KickVic burnt out voice actress, and I come across this? This just all adds up to me being fed a shit five course meal of bitter truth. Nice for your health and to wake you up from delusion, but holy fuckin' hell.
