Arin Hanson / Egoraptor / Grump - "Hey I'm Grump!" of Game Grumps fame, hypocritical SJW doxer, shat himself recording a let's play

Who's ready for more Silent Grumps and misleading titles?

This episode has been taken down (and to my knowledge still has not been reuploaded with no communication by Allie, surprise surprise) due to several audio issues rampant throughout the entire video, including:
  • The intro for the video being completely silent
  • Absolutely no game audio
  • No audio for the Dream Daddy "We're still totally relevant 2 years later" advertisement
  • And plenty of self-censoring bullshit to appeal to that ever-looming YouTube Algorithm
Now of course, a lot of people were incredibly pissed about this, but rest assured that Mr. Hanson has us covered. You see, as it turns out, everything that the fanbase is hating on them for (outlined in the comments, TIHYDPs, Kiwi Farms, Reddit, Twitter and so on) isn't actually their faults at all. It's the algorithm's fault, and by extension, the fanbase's for not watching the content.

Because when everyone else is the problem, and everyone seems like an asshole, obviously they're all just assholes who can't see your brilliance, and it's better to laugh at people who thought otherwise questioning your decisions. Just make it an event that your show kept the swears, and pray to God no one notices.

"Haha, you guys hate us because YouTube's shit, amirite fellow Lovely gamers of Grumping?"

Arin's placing the blame of his failures on everyone else but himself?

Say it ain't so!

I'm still amazed that people will continue to support this arrogant SOB; even after all that.

Edit: listening to the where this statement was made, it's actually Dan who spews that nonsense. Not for the first time, I wonder if he actually believes what he says; or if he simply parrots what Arin tells him to.

I wonder if it's ever dawned on Dan (or any of Arin's 'friends') that constantly enabling Arin's BS isn't helping him; that it's actually making him worse.
...I don't think Arin really comes up in the equation for them. Not out of any real malice from anyone, but just because of the way Arin set everything up.

Arin's the "boss" so he's removed from the peer group in that regard. Arin seems to have trouble making friends and cultivating lasting friendships and relationships. He only interacts with people inside the GG office in any sort of meaningful way, and even then, he's the boss, so there's always a level of distance between him and anyone else there.
I imagine that Arin is fairly to significantly isolated compared to the people he works with. They can all be friends and coworkers, but it's hard for anyone to be friends while being boss and employee. It's his own fault, to an extent, but I can't help but feel a little bad for the guy.

I don't know if it's pride, or immaturity, or insecurity that keeps Arin up his own ass and surrounded by yesmen.... But it really fucking sucks for anyone wanting to watch a decent Letsplay.

This was actually a really well made video. If only more former Grumps fans could be this articulate.

Okay I have not watched GG in a long time but for anyone who still subjects themselves to their crap, is it true that Arin has totally and unequivocally stopped using common everyday words like "crazy" and "insane" because he thinks they're somehow offensive? Jesus christ how much of a fucking wimp really is this guy?

Not exactly. He believes that he needs to stop using those words in case they are offensive sometime in the future.

Late to the party, but last time Dan played any game (Zelda, the original but started buffered up or something) they fucked up the episode listings (Epsiode 5 came instead of three and so on) and by the time they just let it be like that... have since unsubrscribed but i wonder if they ever fixed that?

Jesus is that what happened with Jon?
There was some rumor like that at that time but apparently whatever it was didn't happen. I forget the details.

I know Jon wanted to get back into doing his own videos again, and I think that was part of it, but with how things went as soon as he left I think it was more a disagreement on how to run the channel. Once Jon left there were suddenly four different shows and nearly four times the people "on camera" between them. I think Arin wanted to turn the channel into something bigger but Jon just saw it as a side gig while they both worked on their own content and didn't want to make it more than that.
