I'll never understand this line of reasoning.
Unemployment insurance is something you pay into, and many people are still opposed to using it because they see it as a government handout. But it's there as a safety net. If you use it for that, I see no problems with it. Likewise, the GFM was there because people felt he had been libeled and slandered and want him to be able to work again, which this effectively prevents him from doing in a manner of speaking. I'm sure he was opposed to it, but Ty and Nick explained this to Vic and so they're using it.
That being said, as far as I know no, you can't "increase sanctions" just because he decided to use it. Lemoine is just being an idiot. I'm fairly certain Casey and Lemoine are both used to going against first-year lawyers, and Ty is just raking them over the coals because he actually knows his shit.
