T. Greg Doucette / Thomas Gregory Doucette / greg_doucette / TGDLaw / fsckemall / lawdevnull / TDot - Super Lawyer, Failed Politician, Captain of The Threadnought, Drowning in Debt

Wait, he actually adopted his " pure pwnage of plebs" as his introduction.. the one where he says he hasn't actually read the case? I was so ready to forget about this idiot too

He ain't doing that this year if this is the first mention he's made about it. Unless he thinks that somehow NC and TX law are substantially similar enough that he's not going to have to make a book fort to study for it.

He won't have to study for it at all. There's pretty good reciprocity from TX. He's got his Juris Doctor, he's licensed to practice in NC, he's been actively engaged in the practice of law for at least 5 of the last 7 years, and he *probably* hasn't failed a Texas bar exam previously, which makes him eligible to be admitted without examination. That's why he's asking about his MPRE results.

His biggest issue will be this part: "Be certified by the Board as having present good moral character and fitness." I joke, but really this dude is a fat piece of shit.

Why would he bother to do that though? Are these idiots actually willing to hire yet another lawyer to represent them?

They can't afford to hire him up front. Fortunately, Doucette's advanced knowledge of Texas law tells him that if he takes the case on contingency, he'll be paid the weregild by the judge once he convicts the defendant, Vic, of heresy and sends him to raped to death by specially trained dogs (as is traditional in Texas).

I wonder if he has figured out none of his thot orbiters have any money, or if those same orbiters know he has no money. Gonna be hard to plead a case from across the country.

I'm sure that he's mapped out a sure fire way to get the judge to award him Vic's war chest if he represents Pridemore against Todd Habercorn.

Texas doesn't have reciprocity with other states, as such, so he'd have to go to a little more effort. Maybe he should do things like learn to look up the elements of causes of action so he doesn't constantly make a fucking fool of himself making easily avoided mistakes every time he opens his fool mouth.

The more the merrier.

It's not ridiculous as states go, but it's not admission by motion either, as something like 20 something states allow.

Details: https://ble.texas.gov/admission-without-examination

"Good moral character" can in some cases be called into question by large amounts of debt.

lol so Douchette's flexing that he's gonna admit himself to the Texas Bar, I'd personally love to see that happen.

I should think his GUN IN THE MOUTH level of debt and bankruptcy would make that difficult.

I 100% guarantee this is because he's obsessed with getting some kind of credibility 1-up on Nick and absolutely no other reason. He just wants to be able to say "well screech ISN'T a texas lawyer however I am therefore (verbal rapid fire projectile vomiting)".

If he was "smart" enough to try for the TCPA money play, he probably should have started when he first started tweeting 300 times a day rather than several days after the first TCPA motion was filed.

Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Cuck can't pay a 3rd super lawyer, Marchi is even less likely to be able to pay...I just don't see any semi-logical play outside being able to claim "texas lawyer" on twitter for cred, and coincidentally hoping like fuck this results in money somehow, which is consistent with his past behavior which got him in bankruptcy court in the first place.

He seems to be pretty awful with money. Self proclaimed homeless at one point, also had to declare bankruptcy. So now he claims he "doesn't do things for the money" because he knows he will always fail in that arena, so he can try to grab moral clout by pretending to be above it.

I hope for all our sakes he represents one of the parties for free. I do hope for his wife's son's sake that he'd learn how to be financially responsible.
