Just curious about all this, is this application and insta-granted thing? Or does it take time to be reviewed and vetted as to accuracy and such? And if so, how long will that take? Also, does he just say "yeah, I practiced law for 9 years" or does he have to submit resources to back this up?

He gets 0 credit for taking a case pro bono and then having a fundraiser to pay for shit, dude's just a virtue chasing eggheaded cunt.

Nah! That actually isn't as shady as it sounds. he specifies "Court Costs". There are costs besides simply attorney fees. And you sure as shit don't think Homeless Hobo Lolyer here has the werewithal to pay filing fees or for a transcript out of his pocket?

Dunno if anyone pointed this out yet, but:

Your support is kindly appreciated :) And, as always with these fundraisers, any excess funds will be distributed to an assortment of charitable causes (and helping to spoil my dog Chance and cat Biscuit)
What is it with these fucks and crowdfunding their pet food?

And clearer pictures of D.C. Dickless and his severe case of TDS.

What weird thing to just point to out of nowhere.

Ah, I now have a reason to check out his (KF) thread.

Gregg's poor impulse control and lack of financial responsibility make him a white n*gger. I am sure Sargon would agree.

Never said it was shady, but taking a case on free of charge and then expecting other people to reach into their pockets to pay for court costs is fucking sad as fuck. He wanted to run around telling people he's fighting the good fight for free, while not actually being willing to take the financial hit to fight that fight.

Hopefully his CPAP machine breaks and this slug suffocates in his sleep.

It's actually not that uncommon. The Lawyer is donating his time. But certain administrative and court costs still need to be paid. If the client is destitute asking for donations to meet that is a not unreasonable approach.

Texas A&M have 270 days to review his application once filed and acknowledged of reciept.

He should probably reconsider his pro bono stance if he can't even afford filing fees. It's a lil embarrassing.

I wonder if Texas runs a Credit and Background Check on Out of State Applicants to the Bar?

Edit: Oh yeah, they want Tax Returns! Like All of them! That should be illuminating to whoever gets this application, now shouldn't it?

It's not his place to afford the filing fees. It is the litigants. The Lawyer is not supposed to be paying the fees out of his own pocket.

It's part if the requirements to file. He needs to provide proof of income for 5 out the last 7 years of practice.

Would I be correct in assuming that being substantially in debt/filing for bankruptcy isn't looked upon favorably by the administering authorities?

Apparently this is Greg's second GoFundMe. His first one was so he could rep someone "pro bono".

Wonder how that turned out.
