Richard signed all of the covers for JB. I got one that said Richard and another that said Meyer. Probably easier to sign a sticker and put it inside as far as logistics go. But no idea what the fans would prefer. Personally I like covers sigs and sketches but with a huge project like this it's hard to tell.

To be honest, I don't get the signature thing. A signature has no value if every book is signed. More importantly, when a book comes pre-signed, it doesn't have any personal connection to you or nostalgic value. All they're doing is marring the cover art (or an interior page) with something that doesn't add any value to the book and unnecessarily delays distribution.

If you only care about the book sure, like Batman. I like batman but the creative team is trash. A lot of people collect signatures though. I think owning a book that the creator cared enough to sign is a big selling point for a lot of fans, especially as the projects become bigger and they likely stop signing for people they don't know.

If you actually wanted to be involved in some project to the point you were willing to pay for it to be created sight unseen you probably would like something like that that gives you an actual connection to the creator, even if it's one every copy has.

Admitably sure his work wasn't perfect but even putting monotiya aside Gotham PD was probably the best book set in Gotham without being about Batman, plus I think her relationship with a woman was hinted at on Batman TAS and the writers before him didn't watch the show that much

Immortal Hulk is interesting as it's like something out of the old EC horror comics days, draped in a thin superhero disguise. I'm not sure where Al Ewing is going with some of the storyline (seriously, it's a bizarre new spin on the Hulk and his origins) but I'm curious to see how it plays out.

That sounds good, but how much more could he make with other ways of selling?how many (mostly older) people are still not down with crowdfunding?
the margin for selling in more mainstream Marketplaces like Amazon(not ebay, Paypal is realy bad for seller...) are higher, and the risk isnt that high if you hold the numbers low, you or Zack can easly sell 2000 more books in a year.
