On top of the fridge and poking out the bag from a selfie she posted like 10 mins both look like food to me but I could be wrong. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The red box has been there for weeks. Either she's replacing it or she's not eating much of it.
The bag is Thomas's bagels, which make frequent appearances in her kitchen. You can see them pretty clearly in the second photo I posted, on top of the microwave/toaster oven thing.

SHiT:story:

I'm genuinely curious about SMH husbandry and training but there seems to be scant resources on it.

Hahaha good catch.
Kat is lit my fave thing on the internet at the moment this video though...

I’d embed it but it’s not letting me at the mo??

I've been mostly lurking, or pretty much out of the loop altogether, for a few days because reasons...but I just wandered over the IF to check things out, and what the hell??? Do they ever talk about anyone besides Amanda? Is there really that little going on in the munchie world right now?

Yeah that's what happens when you have:
1) very narrow rules about who can be discussed
2) very narrow rules about what you can discuss about those people
3) SJW munchie mods deciding who gets to be discussed and what you can discuss about them with no transparency.

People have said they submitted timelines for approval that were rejected with no reason given and those timelines are sent directly to the mods so no one else knows who has and has not been submitted already. Sounds like someone's trying to protect their munchie friends, eh? Kat could have had 15 timelines submitted already for all we know, but they just poof away.

IF has very few approved subjects, and Amanda is the most prolific in what she posts. IF does go over the top in what they screenshot of Amanda's, though. Not everything she says or does needs to be talked about.

Fuckin' hell.

Dani finally got a central line and TPN. There was nothing wrong with any of her tests, her tube is fine, there's no reason she's not *~tolerating~* her feeds, but they started her on TPN anyway. And she's saying they anticipate she'll be going home with it. This grimy bitch is going to give herself sepsis or worse if she goes home with that thing.

ETA: If she goes home with this in her arm, she jumps automatically to the top of my death pool.

Why not take it one step further? Someone needs to organize a Fantasy Munchie game. Select your squad, then earn points for how they munch.
Hospital selfie: 10 points
Service dog: 50 points
Service dog misbehaves: 25 points
Power port: 50 points
TPN: 60 points
Death: 300 points (see: catching golden snitch)

The ultimate death pool.

IF is known to be a hugbox. Run by munchies; the whole subreddit is munchies calling out munchies and munchies moderating the munchies calling out the munchies.

They won’t discuss people if they believe they are mentally unstable or suicidal (which I don’t understand because people must be mentally unstable to fake illness in the first place)

You’re better off here than on there for the most part, most of the kiwi’s only check in on IF to get imgur links from JanJan’s patreon or keep somewhat up to date on the ones that are actually discussed there.

But god forbid you make a slightly harsh comment on IF or call out a mod for being a munchie, you’ll get banned instantly.

Tbh too many points for dog problems. Everyone is gonna want DontPetMeImWorking. Maybe make the points a bit more even across the board and we do a draft where each munchie can only be on like three or four people's teams or something before they become unavailable for further draft. Don't mind me. Just balancing what sounds like a really fun game.

Anyway, this fat chick... Exactly how many anti-smiling t-shirts does this bitch own?

Good point. Unless we just let the munchies compete against each other...and tally the points as we see them. Dog issues might need to be 5, lest DPMIW take over the whole show. I wonder if we have a resident financial analyst that could help us with dog point inflation...

Honestly not a half bad idea. We can keep their scores and then at the end of the year when the lolcow awards come out, we can nominate the winner.

It's driving me nuts that I can *almost* make out the dosing weight on that label. 219.5 lbs, maybe? And it looks like they're giving her 147 grams per day of dextrose? That's only 500 calories, though. Can anybody read the label better than I can?

Edit: I'm pretty sure the label says 147 g/day dextrose, 125 g/day Clinisol. At 3.4 and 4.0 cal/g, respectively, that would be 500 calories of each. So they have her on a 1000 cal/day diet?

I see 219.8 I think. Either way, it's definitely 219 and some change. I've no clue how TPN works as far as the numbers go, but 500 calories spread across three meals (assuming three, since she calls this "dinner") seems...off.

Looks like it.

Clinimix (listed under dextrose) is amino acids in dextrose and a significant source of calories. I'm too stupid to do the calculations but if someone knows how to here's a chart.

EDIT: NOPE READ WRONG DISREGARD POSTER UNDER ME IS RIGHT.

I looked more closely and edited my comment . . . it looks like she's also getting something called Clinisol, which I had to google; it's an amino acid solution that has 4 calories per gram. So according to that label, she's getting 1000 calories a day. I don't really know what to make of that information, though.

D'oh. I'm dumb, I figured it out. They're not counting the lipids because those are in a separate bag.

So if she's doing 70% dextrose, 15% clinisol, then the other 15% is the lipid mix. i think.

And if not... I never claimed to be a doctor or a nurse or good at math etc etc.

Okay, that makes sense now. I think you're right. Just playing around with this TPN calculator (https://clincalc.com/TPN/Macronutrients.aspx), she's probably getting another 400-600 calories of lipids, maybe, for around 1500 cal/day total?

Disclaimer: I know nothing. Just got curious about why healthcare dollars are being spent pumping fat and sugar into this chick and was wondering what exactly she was getting.
