I did defend him, but he wasn't a rapist. He did things far worse in the eyes of modern women- took care of his wife and family. He didn't cheat on and beat on his wife. As such, he was seen as utter scum and was targeted for destruction by his wife and Macie. Modern Western woman can't stand a decent man. Anybody who isn't a vicious woman beating rapist is scum to them.

Do you literally not understand how the world works? Having to support a wife and child means you have less money, not more.
