I'm trying to remember, didn't Nick suggest that the kissing story might have been brought up on behalf of the kissee? i.e. Someone else tattled on Vic when the person he kissed didn't care?

I believe Nick alluded to ALL THREE stories being brought up and on behalf of others, by Monica. Two of the three stories officially are, with things being heavily implied that she brought the 3rd story on behalf of ther person that refused to come forward.
 
Man, this guy did not care about being transparent. Objects to nonresponsiveness when Vic gives brief answers several times, then when Vic gives an in-depth answer he doesn't like, he demands it be cut off with 'no', because that makes his argument look better. It is some kind of miracle that Vic managed not to force Casey to eat Lemoinaids' head or something.

Is it just me, or does this seem like a particularly idiotic play when you yourselves are a month past due on your discovery obligations? I mean the moment that Lemonhead gets the Judge to agree that the stay only applies to Funi, Beard's existing motion to compel can be heard and ruled on, sanctions can be dropped and if he wants to be a real bastard, Beard can move that MoRonica's Affirmative Defenses be struck. or at a minimum Ron's. Remember mister "I don't remember". It's clear that Lemonhead is trying to get Nick into deposition BEFORE he files the TCPA, because he realizes that there is no way anybody would allow it as specific TCPA related discovery on the basis of what he has now. Which tells you how little he has.

Honestly, it's a huge gamble that idiotboi is taking.

If I had to guess, he's banking that if they're allowed an exemption, he will force Ty to provide the requested discovery - leak it to Greg Douchette, and then laugh all the way to the bank when Funimation's TCPA succeeds and they file their own TCPA on that precedent.

There's literally no other explanation of why this little weasel is beating off in the middle of a courtroom so feverishly, on camera.

Trying to remember. I've lost track.

There's Monica's jellybean story. Then there's the two female fans (I think those are the twins). Then there's the third incident brought up by the unnamed, former Funimation employee.

Denbow interviewed Monica, two additional witnesses, and the probably-twins. She did not interview the former-Funi.

I'm just trying to puzzle where Luci could fit into this. She's not a former Funi employee, she's a contractor. And while she does a lot of work of Sentai, she also shows up in Funimation every once in a while (I know for sure she was in Darling in the Franxx last year), so it's not like she's even "former".

Where did the kissing story fit into all this?

Ian Sinclair took Vic's Morose Mononokean role.

For Vic's other major ongoing role, Qrow from RWBY, that went to Jason Liebrecht. And I guess Rampo from Bungo Stray Dogs went to some dude named Landon McDonald.

It's really bugging me that the deadline for MoRon to file their TCPA is July 19. But there is NO WAY they can depose Nick in time for it to affect their TCPA motion. I mean they even suggested Aug 2 as a date and Lemonhead is obviously assmad that Nick has already started he's not available that day.

It was the jellybean story, the "consensual kiss" story and the "being creepy to two girls" story IIRC

The jellybean story and the consensual kiss story were confirmed to be brought forward by Monica. It's HEAVILY implied that Monica was the one who suggested Denbow reach out to the two girls for comment also so that'd make all 3 stories coming from Monica

Hmm. Then which story was the one brought up by the former-Funi? Or was that one just a not investigated fourth story? As I've mentioned, if kiss story = former-Funi, it can't be Luci, both because she's just a contractor, and two, she still does work for Funimation.

The former-Funi was the one Monica brought up in that email with the "Oh, I remembered this other person had an incident but they don't want their name out there" schtick.
