If Mumkey Jones was a Shakespeare character in a tragedy his fatal flaw would be that he's impulsive and doesn't think through decisions before making them.

He decides to fuck a thot he met online without looking at her history to see if there was anything potentially damaging to his reputation. (He admits in this video not knowing she drew cub porn). While taking illicit substances not realizing that they are affecting his thinking and his mood. (He admits in this video that the medication he takes prevents him from crying and sleeping). He views said thot as the key to obtaining true happiness and enlightenment. He goes as far as to move across the country and buy a house/car to be with her. All within a short time period. And she almost immediately leaves him for her ex boyfriend.

From the outside this all seems retarded and nonsensical but it makes perfect sense when you consider the drugs he was taking and how little he thought through his decisions. He viewed this girl as the cure to his depression and didn't even consider a backup plan or a plan B if the very likely possibility of her leaving him occurred. And when it did he was completely dumbfounded. These are all things people normally take months to years to prepare to do but he did it within the span of weeks. And I'm genuinely impressed he didn't slow down and consider the possibility his thot gf would leave him. Considering almost all of his fans were pleading with him to see reason, and by his own account he ignored these people.

He likes to make analogies to Breaking Bad but his life is much closer to Eraserhead.

Mumkeys spiral down didn't happen with the ABR incident, it happened when his channels got terminated.
Information I've been given that I personally trust, shows that Mumkey held a grudge towards Burger and in general had a distaste towards him, and if anything, the ABR incident was the best thing to happen for his career.
I have a feeling that if the ABR incident didn't happen but everything else did regarding his channels, we would still be at this point of the downfall.

This isn't exactly news if you've been a fan of the guy for a while, he'd openly talk about this kinda stuff and in the Elliot videos he says how he relates strongly to certain parts of the manifesto. His lack of shame and honesty was part of his charm initially I think.

I remember Mumkey said this in one of his Elliot videos, but the "just a few steps away from being Elliot Rodger" is news to me!

In the video I'm thinking of Mumkey essentially says that he relates to many moments of Elliot's manifesto and can understand the feelings and emotions Elliot experienced throughout his life. He ends off this statment by saying the difference between him and Elliot was that unlike him, he didn't want to hurt people.

Seems like that was all a facade, but who knows.
