StyxHexenhammer666 / Tarl Warwick - Oddball Occultist Neckbeard (who can make some interesting content)

I like Styx and don't disagree with that outlook but he fetishizes the "white-trash" thing a bit. Some of it is sensible, some of it is more of an aesthetic fixation than a philosophy. He tends to look down on anything that reeks of cash because he sees it as artificial/inauthentic.

I don't think it's a fetish rather than a self confession that he's from a lower middle class income band and he was never able to mesh in properly with the "cool kids" and so at some point in his life stopped trying, and embraced being an eccentric and a non-conformist.

From some of the stuff he's talked about in his past, him adopting Christianity and getting rejected by his peers, and some other bits and pieces about his past. As well as his early goth set up which he's moved away from, it's clear to see that he was probably that typical kid in high school who was operating at a different level in terms of his thinking and therefore was probably socially isolated growing up.

A lot of things can factor into this, but I think if you look at the things he's proud of, it makes sense that he's proud of his economic background, because that probably was disparaged as a kid, proud of his occultic interests, because it worried the normies and the hypocritical christian's at his school, and adopted an eccentric dress sense, because it was what he found comfortable, and didn't care if it made other around him uncomfortable.

His parents probably had a lot to do with his development as well. Styx has always struck me as a sort of 70's style self sufficiency non-conformists, who didn't fit in with the hippy movements. The types who used to write for Loompanics, or start their own weird publications, while making moonshine in their back yard and selling it alongside their produce at the local farmers market.

Either way I'd say out of all the weird youtubers I follow, he's the likeliest candidate that I could see myself hanging out with and enjoying the conversation.

one of those?

You sure about that? it sounds to me like he was just from a poor place and not the poor kid.

A nice summer day, strong cider from his own apples, etc.

Ha, we can joke about the columbine kids now, but at the time a friend of my older brothers got suspended from school and nearly expelled because he showed up to class the same week of Columbine wearing a rain slicker, t-shirt, and combat boots.

He wanted to trigger the very conservative middle class Christian kids who used to shit talk him for being a poor kid, with a weird hippy mother. Managed to do that and the whole fucking faculty so successfully that in the end he had to change schools.

The family wasn't poor, they just weren't as well off as the town kids. The old man couldn't work as much cause of massive back injury, and his mother who was part native had one of those weird spiritual crystal businesses, and sold pottery on the property. They owned the house. But the whole thing just stuck with him, in that town in particular.

He even joined our scout district and would bike the 45 minutes down the highway to ours because the kids in our didn't know him as the poor weird kid and therefore didn't have this pre-conceived notions. He fit in just fine.

Apple cider made in a stone press fresh is like nectar of the Gods.

Styx is traveling somewhere, won't say where, says it's not a vacation and will be filming more content than he usually does normally. He said it would be fun to guess where he's going in the comments but won't answer, confirm or deny anything. THEN he said he's traveling via the airport in Detroit and crossing the Atlantic ocean. My guess it maybe he's visiting his new wife's family or going on a honeymoon.

Is styxhexxenhammer666 becoming a gourd? I get that you are what you eat, but I thought veggies are suppose to keep you thin by malnutrition? Dude is on the cusp of shopping TJ Maxx's "apple bottom jeans" territory these days.

The veggies are going straight to the hips.

Nothing all that interesting but I happened to notice a post by @Exceptional Mafioso over in Metokur's thread about Styx's merch prices and it made me curious since when I went to check (I was going to do a profit per item comparison like I did with Metokur's merch), I remembered he wasn't using teespring or some other similar free service but his own separate merch website, which surprised me since it's usually the teespring types who try to charge $45 for a hoodie.

Checking the whois revealed the agent name, "lillian (leigh) fox," and the company name, "HayesBartonStudio." Both of which lead to a youtube channel, acting resume, etsy, and website (hayesbartonstudio.com) that redirects to another (not currently open) catlady site/instagram. The mildly interesting part to me was that she seems to have more of a variety of items than his shop does.

tl;dr: Styx seems to have gone through the cost/effort of hiring a catlady artist to run his merch store for him rather than just using a free service and didn't even have her make anything unique for it.

Edit (7/27/2019): Site's up and has a message about the collaboration.

Why is he so obsessed with Ebola? We have never observed a virus change its form of transmission. They mutate, yes, but the mode of transmission stays the same. Meaning Ebola is very unlikely to go airborne. Granted, there’s always room for unknowns, but there are way bigger, actually relevant, health scares to worry about. Such as the rise of drug resistant bacteria.

At this point it's best not to ask why with him. Even if we could speak with him directly he'd just trail off into 20 other directions and never get around to answering the original question.

Eh....imma be fair to the hairy nigger here and just say that some people go through an Ebola obsessive phase in their lives

It's his second wife, hopefully this turns out well for him, she doesn't seem to be yet another e-thot.

His first wife was a situation where they got married way too young, which is more understandable.

This one is a little weird since we know something happened a few months ago which birthed “emo styxx” for a couple of weeks and then it rectified. thats why this situation bodes less well.
