I'm not sure if Blaire uses a Feminizing filter per say but one trick I do know for sure is that she uses a lot of lighting, so much that it drowns her face a bit erasing any lines and making her face look smoother than it really is. Now with that, I suspect that Joey may have some sort of editing software or some trick that goes even further in making Blaire look the way she does in videos produced by her or Joey. Before she got with Joey and was making those old school videos, you can definitely tell she was trying to depend on the lighting to drawn her face out and then all of a sudden after she gets with Joey, she upgraded her quality and looks how you see her today. So my suspicion is that Joey either edits or gave her tips on how to make herself look even more feminine than she actually looks in real life.

Because as you've seen in the candid photos taken by people who aren't her or Joey, she looks A LOT different than what you'd expect. Even Andy Warski as crazy as he is now mentioned this in his Blaire Whie Ranting livestream where he said she doesn't look like she does in her videos in person and I suppose he wouldn't have to lie since he met her twice at Vidcon.

To be fair, I will say that perhaps for some seemingly straight men, they may not know the person is trans (some guys just can't tell and I don't understand why because trannies tend to have cerain mannerisms that not even most actual females behave like) and then when they find out the person is trans, they either try it out of curiousity or they go with it no question because they've always liked dick and now found a way to justify it.

Joey also said as a young kid he had a crush on an Asian classmate who he believed to be a girl, but he was actually a boy. So I think Joey is a gay or bisexual man who has this weird thing for men who look super feminine and/or impersonate women.

Almost anyone would rather have a trans son/friend/coworker than a butch lesbian daughter/friend/coworker/etc. That's like 90% of the problem. No one likes gender non-conforming people and since the trans shit has been going on so long, young GNC teens have no role models other than everyone telling them to transition. That's the element no one seems to grasp but it's the most important one when your talking about trans men like Kalvin. Everyone hates women that are too masculine. It's just a fact.

I still think flamboyant men are much more of a spectacle in everyday life than boyish women. Women with short hair and trousers aren't considered unusual in this part of the world. I think it comes down to the inherently performative nature of femininity involving uncomfortable/restricting clothes, makeup, styled hair etc. It gets more attention because it's so visual.

I'd also put down the ridiculous discrepancy in male/female referrals to gender clinics to general sexism. Many girls hate puberty like anyone does, because it does just generally suck, but add on top of that objectification, harassment, ridiculous beauty and grooming standards, not being taken seriously and so forth and you can see why many girls want to opt out. This applies to girls regardless of them being gender conforming or not, which is reflected in the fact there's a sizeable chunk of straight girls doing this too. They aren't all butch lesbians.

It's not 100% clear if it was because Blaire went into the male restroom, even though that's their conclusion, they cut out most of the interaction with the staff, but that's their claim. It's possible that the restaurant simply doesn't like a weird couple filming their guests inside and outside the restroom area, but that wouldn't really fit in with the videos narrative.
