I don't know if Ty necessarily wanted to release them. He just wanted the option to release them... probably depending on how Vic's deposition went.

Also, a sworn affidavit isn't going to be from "XxYaoiLover1986xX"... it'd have to be signed with her real name and notarized. So yeah, it'd have to include their full dox (and I seriously doubt that any XxYaoiLover1986xXs were willing to dox themselves just to help MoRonica).

Other than that, yeah, I think you nailed it. Ty knows that they have the upper hand on social media and they have to maintain that advantage. Vic's career is riding on what the public thinks of him. If they lose the public then Vic probably doesn't go to any more conventions.

i wonder if casey make shady promises about protecting identities to get the affidavits knowing full well there's no way whatsoever he can guarantee that since they filed them before a gag order or confidentiality agreement was in place. or could he be so stupid that he didn't realize that?

So far the only time they've managed to impress me with their ability to refrain from doing the absolute worst possible thing is that they've held off on filing the TCPA motion, which everyone sort of still assumed they were going to file right after deposing Vic even though they had told the judge that they wouldn't.

He's moved the goal posts, so who knows. Last week all they wanted was for the "victims" to be able to remain anonymous. Ty agreed to redact their names for 30 days.

Now they want their actual evidence suppressed as well, which is a different ball game. Casey should definitely have known that changing the game changed the rules.

Vic is actually probably better having an honest, low key lawyer than someone who has done celebrity shit already, because Ty isn't going to do the dumb shit celebrity lawyers do that always looks phony.

It's actually weirding out everyone who actually does law at all that there has not been a single TCPA filed in this case yet. It HAS to happen, seriously, it does. Why isn't there one yet?

I think it's because losing a TCPA would be a catastrophic, reputation destroying disaster for whoever loses one.

Even the most likely outcome, involving some kind of amended complaint, would still be a disaster, because the court would opine to some degree on the defamation claim, and the opinion would not be pretty.

The absolute, utter lack of any evidence at all against Vic would be catastrophic for the reputation of the liars.

I just think it's fantastic that he apologized to the degenerate autists of the Kiwi Farms for violating an obscure rule of Computer Etiquette, but he never apologized to Low T Douchette or Akiva Cohen lmao. I just imagine Ty sitting up in bed at night trying to read, but in his mind he's thinking "I upset the big bag of special needs children that I never asked for called the Kiwi Farms, and I need to earn their respect back. I better get on Rekieta's stream and do something about this."

Either that, or one of his daughters is creeping around this site, lapping up the crowdsourced discovery. In either case, I love living in the future and being around to see this.
