To be honest, Vic does really not strike me as the kind of dude who'd constantly google himself like notorious pedophile Ron Toye III employed by Mid Atlantic Mortgage at the time of writing would.

So him reading these articles post interview strikes me as honestly unlikely. But this would be the kind of defamation thing you would coach someone out on because the likely route of questioning would be going line by line through each claim and badgering him over and over. It's better to go straight in with "I don't recall any specifics."

Thing is though, as we saw from the wasting time on Star Trek Continues and the Go Fund Me they started out with nothing and still had most of it left by the end.

I think @Svetlana said that Vic was avoiding social media to protect his mental health, so it wouldn't be surprising if he was also avoiding media outlets reporting on the situation.

For anybody that saw the screenshot of the article by Derek Padula that stated Mr. Lemoine had talked to him and specifically mentioned a time frame of about 8-12 months left in this particular case, and that the case is far from over, I'd like to show you 1) how much of a slimeball this cuck is, and 2) how much control MoRonica's counsel has over the public side of this battle.

It states specifically that, "Mr. Lemoine gave me a heads up that big news is coming in this case from the Defendant’s side in the next week, and he predicts this case will be ongoing for at least 8 to 12 months." This is obviously very damning, because it hints at a massive lack of confidence in their TCPA motion, and we all know what knowingly filing a frivolous TCPA motion that is aimed at delay can get you (hint: it's more fucking sanctions, Lemonhead).

He could quite plausibly say he doesn't read all these things, he's aware of them, but if he sees one, he passes it on to his lawyers to review. That's why he's paying them after all.

Yes, that's basically the complaint.

With respect to why Vic may not have reached out originally, it could also very well be that Vic wasn't particularly interested in engaging with publications of any sort with respect to these allegations, because we know he wasn't interested. He even turned down Nick, who goes beyond neutrality and is clearly pro-Vic.

With respect to why he may not recall, his friend very plausibly could have said something to the effect of, "This guy online has this article up and he wants to talk to you. I can't remember the name of his site or whatever, but I'll get it to you later. He seems like a really good guy and a straight shooter. He talked about x thing and y thing and genuinely doesn't seem hostile. You should genuinely think about talking to him." Talking "at length" about something with someone is exceedingly vague and doesn't actually mean that your specific personal information was implanted into Vic's head.
