Extra Credits - leftie gaming channel that had two of its members accused of "misconduct" in only 2 months

Is Irritated Ignacio maybe finally growing a bit more based?
Not really. Just goes to show how abysmal the video was, fact that some of the more “mainstream” creators like Joe and Critikal called them out.

And I want to point out that even if EC’s message was 100% valid, it doesnt change the fact that they did a terrible job conveying said message. Needing to do multiple clarifications about the video’s overall message proves how they failed completely.

No, they conveyed the idea perfectly so that any idiot could understand it.

The idea is just stupid.

I decided to take a look at Dan's "New Frame Plus" channel. Much to my surprise, I ended up marathoning the whole thing. I was surprised that Dan could put up pretty decent stuff. And he even has a pretty decent amount of subs and views. Took me by surprise, honestly.

The guy's a definitely lefty and SJW, but he at least is enthusiastic when it comes to games and animation, and he even give some pretty good insight on the subject. At least he isn't trying to brainwash his audience with rhetoric and calling me a bigot. EC went the shit when Dan got out of dodge. They might as well be Feminist Frequency 2 at this point, imo.

Do they not realize that by removing the ability to be nuanced, they are essentially taking away these deep discussions?
They do realize that, because they don't want discussion (and some of the more honest SJWs will tell you exactly that). They want to preach from the pulpit, and silence those who would dare to oppose their dogma.
  • Ban Italy in WW2 games because they made good food for their POWs and WAR IS NOT A VACATION REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
You're kidding, right? That being said, the closest thing I've had to a bad Italian meal is eating cold, three day old pizza.

I couldn't think of any Italian atrocities tbh.

And to think there was a brief time long, long ago where I thought this channel was alright. What a clown show. Hell, I can't even really call it a clown show because that'd imply they're at least funny.

The most offensive part of that video is when they suggest wait times should be artificially extended for the axis (which is a result of them saying it's wrong to [auto]balance axis and allies) if there are more ally players than axis players.

Yeah okay, pro game designer.

That part was easily the crescendo of stupidity for the video, at least in terms of game design.

What about gassing Ethiopians and massacring the fuck out of them when they tried to assassinate Pietro Badoglio? Also too lazy to look this up but I'm pretty sure the Italian Social Republic killed some partigiani in tit-for-tat fighting.

EDIT: goddamit @The Demon Pimp of Razgriz you beat me to it. Also forgot that they pacified Libya by putting a large amount of the population in concentration camps in the '30's, and apparently murdered civilians in Greece and Yugoslavia. Nowhere near as bad as the Germans, Japs, and Russkies though.

I blame the sports-trophies movement.

These kids have been raised with always getting a trophy no matter the outcome, they believe now they can always win. So they don't want to bother with all that argument, and debate stuff - just skip to the end where they totally defeat you with their airtight, totes awesome argument that will cause everyone on the bus to stand up and clap.

I also suspect that a lot of the times the speds have a script of how the argument is going to go:
  • "First I'll bring up ___"
  • "Then they're going to reply with something like [hur dur]"
  • "Then I'll devestate them with this counter point!"
  • "Flawless victory!"
so when you don't follow the script or bring up this perfectly valid fact they never heard of or considered it causes a short circuit in the NPC programming and they flip out trying to process it.

Tear Gas still counts as a chemical weapon in a war situation, which is why its still not used in war to this day.
That's because it's an awful, awful chemical when used in war. Most tear gas used in riot control is about 5-10% concentration and it is still a painful experience.
When the concentration rises it doesn't just burn your eyes and sinuses, you get the same lovely sensation on your entire body. It also sticks to literally anything, so imagine having to dump all your clothes after being exposed.

The influence of these trophies is way overstated... hell, they existed in the 1950s.

Gassing an enemy implies melting their eyeballs off and giant clouds wafting towards the enemy.

They barely used the stuff and barely won the war.

Tear Gas is freaking horrible in high enough concentrations. That stuff is no joke. And they barely won the war because they were the fucking Italians, and the Italian army's shittyness during The Second Great Unpleasantness is practically a meme at this point.
