I saw him at Anime Expo and pulled a "are ya coding son?" out on him while walking by. Thought I was a fan at first until I whipped that out.

The official crush crush twitter shared this image a few days ago.

his hair :story:
He definitely greased his hair to shit in this image thinking it would make him look neater for the photo or to hide his receding hairline or something. 90% of the time he is just his usual bedheaded self.

You know, i watched a video about TES:Oblivion today, and i realised that YandereDev is trying (intentionally or not, it doesn't matter) to make something simular to Radiant AI. In Oblivion Bethesda had 100+ NPC with uniqe goals and schedule, in YanSim there is 100+ NPC with different schedule and types of behavior.
And yes, NPC in Oblivion are sometimes really fun to watch due to this AI, but it was a really cool thing made by talanted programmers, who created... well, an AI for this thing.
Yanderedev, in other hand, doesn't want to create a system that will operate NPC's reactions, he wants to hardcode everything.

The Oblivion stuff is essentially hardcoded too (their behaviour is defined in the mod files though not the actual code). There's no "AI" in the sense of some learning neural net/stochastic system there.

YO WTF IS THIS?!!!!

As much as I doubt this'll bring any meaningful discussion but I've received information that will lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton regarding what'll happen regarding the development. According to RockVonCleaveland, a moderator/contributor for Yandere Simulator, He is credible since he's trusted by YandereDev. The development of Yandere Simulator will end once Osana is completely implemented. It was all meant to be v-slice, should the KickStarter be successful, a complete game.
Here is just the comment by itself:

The moment he announces Osana is gonna be the end, his reputation will be finished. He could've at least kept it going for years by using the Patreon bucks to hire cheap workers and keep it going for some years still. Maybe there's some 4D chess in there I'm not seeing, but I don't understand this.

I mean, we all knew that the current development is geared towards creating a V-slice demo containing Osana, which will be the last freely available build of the game and is supposed to attract Kickstarter supporters. That's not news.
If the Kickstarter campaign succeeds, then the game will be developed further, with the V-slice being torn apart into pieces and unnecessary content removed, since it will no longer be needed in the full game.
If you didn't know those things, then you really haven't been paying attention and you need to upgrade your gremlining skills.

Now to Rock's claims:
  • "And no, he does not live with his parents." So how does that change his expenditures? How much rent is he paying? Or is he an owner? Anyway, that means that at least all those Patreonbux don't pile up in Alex McScrooge's vault.
  • "Once Osana is finished, that's it. It's over. It will not continue development. Development has ended. It has been completed. It's not 10% completed; it's 100% completed and will be put on a shelf forever." So does it mean that if the Kickstarter succeeds, the whole code will be thrown into the garbage bin and the development will start from scratch? Enjoy waiting 5 more years for Osana... again! Rock linked to a Zoolander clip, but if it takes 5 years to build a model of a building, then how long will it take to build the actual building?
Anyway, have we heard anything about plans after a failed Kickstarted campaign? Like, he asks for $300,000, gets only $15,000, and then what? Will that be it? Close the Patreon account, stop Youtube activity and become a wagey-slavey?

Here are the most successful PC game Kickstarters. Find a spot you think YS will get based on its popularity, and then check how much the similar projects raised: https://www.kickstarter.com/discove...ry_id=12&sort=most_funded&seed=2605035&page=1

He has 2.5m subscribers and a million of those are still actively watching his videos. Depends on what the backer rewards are, how Osana turns out, amount he wants and how long he has to fund. He’ll either struggle to get $100k or blast through a million.

Hey, if Alex really is going to hand development over to someone else, I think starting from scratch would be faster than dealing with Alex's spaghetti code.
