Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

So Sony has a copyright for Vic's name? There was no music, imagery, videos from Sony intellectual property and the name of the stream is " The Deposition of Vic Mignogna - Part 1". Someone was manually intervening. Possibly manually flagging the video over and over again until a bot intervened. But there's no way a bot responded to anything in the stream as copyrighted material on its own.

It's really hard to gauge how well Genlock's actually doing thanks to RT's site not tracking views, but based on what they're saying at RTX (the show's going to Adult Swim, Blu Ray's out for October and Season 2 is happening "when it's ready") it did at least well enough that a prospective second season hasn't been cancelled yet.

It's impossible to watch though for the same reason dragon prince is impossible to watch. The casting decisions are a literal burger kings kid club where they blatantly try and check every racial and gender quota. It distracts completely from the story by how eye rollingly jarring it is.

Wasn't that ID hit on the literal word "young"? If that's not abuse of the system I don't know what is.
No, "Young" was the title of the work that the Content ID system (mis)identified... possibly this?

From all the other horror stories of people being falsely flagged by these bots or by actors for copyright violations, there has to be some kind of copyrighted material present for the bot to pick up on be it gameplay footage, clips from a film or TV show, or the easiest shit to flag, music. None of this was present in Rekieta's stream. If this was a YouTube TOS type thing then it would have been for the content of the video (privacy, harassment, etc.) and not a copyright flag. Unless Lemonparty's voice is just really really similar to the villain of a Sony owned property and it thought Rekieta was streaming a film or game, I just don't buy that this was a bot flagging for copyright without some hand to guide it.

I mean it's possible there are instances of people just talking and bots mistaking it for something else but I haven't come across anything like that which got tons of publicity. The only other thing I can think of is Vic's speaking voice is similar to a character he portrays, and it's a character from a now Sony owned property, and the bot assumed that it was that property being streamed.

Anyone who is talking about the stupid copyright hit is a fucking moron. Shut the fuck up you retards nothing happened. It was clearly a mistake by a bot WHICH WAS IMMEDIATELY DETECTED AND WITHDRAWN or even less importantly by some fuck at Sony who flagged the wrong video and withdrew it before Rackets could even try to contest it. Thats how small of a deal this is. There's no conspiracy here.

Soye and his Lawyer are such douchebags that they could have a video of Vic raping Monica like the beached whale she is, show it to the Jury, and the jury would still be on Vic's side because they are such annoying cucks.

Do you need a hug? :(

Goddamn these morons are slow. Of course the tweets were on the TDMA! The idiots were shown only 1 because they had a brainlet take and focusing on the tweet mentioning literal shit.
I don't know what's worse, the fact that MoRon hired a literal exceptional individual because he's the only lawyer who would tell them what they wanted to hear, or that the twitter "lawyers" spending all day online because no one at their firm trusts them in a one mile radius of cases that matter make fuhrer lemonparty look practically genius.

Think you are wrong, it's 2 LOyers and 3 firms that told MoRon what he wanted.
That would be, "Yes, being a cuck will get you out of this lawsuit."

Just a teory here (and probably autistic).
But did you guys paid attention how Lamoine gets angry every time he implied that someone tries to silence "victims", or flat out said Vic is sexual predator during his unicorn speech. In this moments he sound like sjw with believe all whamen mentality.

Do we know if he worked on some type of meetoo case?

Or he tries to get support from meetoo/timesup shit?

Or he tries to make a career/authority/fame riding meetoo wave?

If so, maybe he's realizing every dime he's wasting of the GFM is money that now won't go to the Salvation Army women's center, who gets the residual cash if any is left over. So everything he's doing in this case is literally taking money away from actual battered women, as compared to the despicable slugs he's representing (who are probably going to bilk him on the bill when he loses anyway).

The real question would be if other video's had claims on them for the same outro music or not.

No one else uses Nick's outro music. It was written for him.

But there's no way a bot responded to anything in the stream as copyrighted material on its own.

That's literally what Content ID is. A bot that automatically flags things it recognizes as copyrighted material by something like an md5 hash but much more complicated.

Weren't they late and/or incorrect when they filed their objections regarding the TDMA ?
Nick mentioned something like that on stream yesterday.
They did not file their objections to the TDMA. Which means they don't really get to specially object to them. Their objections are also dumb, saying things like "Vic didn't send a TDMA" when he did, and arguing that the claims are unspecific and vague so they can't defend against them, despite having a ton of affirmative defenses brought up. Turns out the super lawyers are really bad at this. They didn't even ask for discovery from Vic.

It seems that the current take by law twitter is that releasing the depositions is bad unless it hurts Vic.

So Soye is the most pathetic squirrel Moronica could find and at least one of their lawyers sound more like Darth Vader than Darth Vader himself. I'm sure a jury of average people will not think of them as cartoon villains, it's cool.

I very much doubt that J Sean will be asking the questions in court. The jury would find his voice annoying enough that they'd tune out very quickly.

Yes they were, they didn't object to it in the required time frame. Also the tweets were in the TDMA anyway so they are just clueless.

They know the tweets were in the TDMA. One of the first things law Twitter jumped on when they waded in was Ty including tweets such as the one where Ron called Vic a piece of shit. Then they tried to claim that Ty hadn't explained *how* each of the tweets was defamatory. They're just moving the goalposts. Again.
