Ezra Levant (mentioned earlier in the thread) has been an activist for disbanding Canadian HRTs for over a decade. He's regarded as a right-wing fringe figure by Canadian standards though.

I don't think Maxime Bernier has gone as far as calling for the HRTs to be dissolved (to my knowledge) but he outspokenly opposed Bill C-16 after meeting with Peterson, and has in general voiced many concerns about attacks on free expression in Canada that fall under the purview of HRTs.

And, of course, Lindsay Shepherd herself is a Canadian.

Transtrender insanity (and HRTs enabling it) has also been a pet topic of Jonathan Kay.

I could go on. There are people expressing these views, they just all are far to the right of mainstream political discourse in Canada (even though they'd probably be moderate Republicans in the US).

Trudeau changed the federal prison policies so that transgender (or those purporting to be transgender) inmates are placed based on their declared gender identity alone, with no requirements with respect to surgery or other treatments, anatomy, or gender on identification documents. There would be absolutely nothing to argue; he'd unambiguously get to go to a women's prison without any room for debate.

Re-read what I wrote. I said it would be battle to keep him out. To further clarify what I mean is that it would take lawyer working hard time on career-tanking case to put him in prison for men.

That's nice, but see what happens if you open carry a pistol in NYC. I’ve been wondering about Papa Yaniv, if this is like a situation where dad had a previous marriage with kids. Yitzhak was 50 when Johnny was born, plenty of time to have a first wife.
