Narcissa Wright has now started streaming privately, and only a select few will be let in. This obviously severely limits potential for anything new, unless someone here was somehow able to weasel their way in, which seems unlikely. I wonder if she'll be doing some... racier streams in private too for her loyal fans. Oh baby.

She's begun giving certain people in her Discord the role "StreamWatcher", which I assume is the new role signifying those who will actually show up.

Limiting the possible viewers of your stream to a personally selected handful of people is a good strategy for regaining your popularity.

I guess encouraging people to go for WRs on her irrelevent Mario Maker maps is the next stage of her hiding from normal categories in popular games.
 
The lack of capitalization really screams mentally fit adult. Or maybe I'm getting that confused with the mentally fit adults who scream when they see Cosmo.

Tried the first three, totally generic affairs. I don't mean this as an insult, mind. After playing a number of user-generated courses, only a few will really stand out as excellent in terms of design and most others would feel generic - not terrible, but also not memorable or worth seeking out (unless you're like Hwan Tea and is desperate to diddle Cosmo or something). I will note that Cosmo always picked the "Speedrun" tags for her levels, even when said levels aren't exactly fit for speedrunning with pathing options and the like.

As an aside, I'm not sure when Cosmo got the game, but if she got it on launch day, she hasn't really been playing other people's courses all that much, which is weird because she's a speedrunner (well, then, not sure about now). There are infinite courses he can lay world record claims on as long as people keep making courses, and the game even displays a course's world record time and who ran it (feeding her need for attention), so for her to not play that much is curious. Or she could just be easily triggered about someone else claiming whatever WRs she sets (the game also feeds you notifications when your records are broken).

I haven't played Mario in like 25 years, but he doesn't seem very good. Even if he's some crazy hard maps shouldn't he have better showing on endless? I assume that's something where they give you like 10 lives and you see how many levels you can beat in a row.

Yup, you're correct about endless mode. The thing about that mode though is that you can pause your progress in between levels then come back with your current streak and lives remaining later, so I'm guessing her current numbers are still active streaks. What's puzzling is how little she plays actual levels, and the levels I've seen doesn't seem to time-consuming to create. Granted, she's probably still glued to Smash or something, but I figured a long-time speedrunner would go nuts on what is pretty much a continuous supply of levels, each with their own world record times to beat.

Then again, trying to understand what motivates Cosmo nowadays is like trying to predict when the next earthquake would occur.

I'm pretty sure she can't land or keep a 9to5 job.
