Its not worth it.
This Phillip's smelly chair faggot has given DSP 33 dollars so far in cheers, over the course of 6 days. Doesn't look like he's stopping anytime soon, either.

Hopefully there will be no restreams tonight so he doesn't get his usual 30 percent increase in bits and tips due to "trolls" being exceptional cucks.

33 Dollars in fake money that he will get at the 15th of next month.
They will either get wasted on a DAY AHWFF or get lost in the black hole that is Dave's overdrawn bank account.

Either way, it will not make Dave filthy rich or 'save' him from his crippling financial ineptitude.
So why get so assblasted over it?

Has anyone taken the time to figure out how much on average clearly troll accounts give Phil in a month? It could settle a lot of this back and forth of "oh it's only x dollars" and "it's keeping Phil afloat" fighting.

I guess it would vary, I'm not to sure if the trolls are as organized as they were before, so maybe a breakdown from just flamer trolls that wanna leave offensive comments, lone wolf trolls that do above and beyond, and KWO/SOK like groups that have a giant Illuminati of trolls. We have obvious standouts like Tutankhamen, that we'll never really know if he was a troll all along that was stupid enough to give phil a grand, was an organized troll operation to get phils trust, it's hard to say. The DSPhere could have a wiki of its own.

Yeah I was more just wondering about the super obvious, "Phil's bald and married to a horse" type. You could go crazy with the undercurrents of the goutsphere.

I'm not assblasted over it. And its not fake money, its guaranteed money. Cheering = Paying

It certainly doesn't hurt when a dozen or so people do it every week, repeatedly. And from a personal standpoint it's just as frustrating because it's low-effort trolling of the laziest order and it achieves nothing. Phil's been saying for years that troll names/comments accompanied by tips are just money in his pocket and he doesn't give a shit what they say, and he's right. It's the thronging masses of people even more stupid than him who convince themselves that they're getting to him or, more pathetically, that they're going to make Detractor-Senpai notice them with their epic burn, that make his actual supporters look like Eton scholars.

Phil gets infinitely more pissed off when people feed him misinformation in the stream chat when he's stuck on a game, which is all the fucking time. Use a little imagination, stop trying to impress Tevin or make the Snort Burnell b-roll and step up your* game.

*Not you, necessarily, @HerrKlicks , just the, uh, Royal You, I guess.

100 dollar tip to name a cat in minecraft that the stream will never see again nor will Phil ever reference again. Good investment? That paypig thought so. Cant wait till next week when DSP blows all that money on Amazon Prime day and says his Twitch money never came in so he couldn't pay his bills.
He's already onto figuring out what to spend it on

I've looked at it before, and it's hard to tell sometimes because it comes down to what you define as trolling. If one of Phil's actual fans asks a baiting-type question, does that count? When I included all the ones I was willing to call a troll, it was like 5-10%, but I'm sure that number goes up and down.

I used the term fake money because it still has to run thru the twitch payment process before eventually ending up on the piglet's bank account. (so arriving with a 30? 45? Day delay.)

I just enjoy watching him flail and burn without worrying about how 'failtrolls' (or whatever people call it) are throwing pennies at the sad clown. I do simply believe that in the big picture the 'attaching money to the troll messages' people do not make as huge as a dent into his monetary situation as people might think. @actually 's 5-10% figure seems reasonable which is nothing given that the swinemaster manages to literally set money on fire. Seeing him scramble to overly cover his ass for fear of the twitch gods striking him is entertaining. I personally would not use my money for it but I can't stop others from doing so.

I apologize for rustling some jammies tho! :)

There's no way that's recent. Who would actually want a PS Classic In Current Month?! I do get miffed that Phil has endless cash, but then he wastes it on literal junk...

That's not even getting into how the mini classic consoles are subcasual trash products. "Professional gamer," my ass.

Am I misrembering or was the Playstation mini never that hot of an item to begin with? No artificial shortage BS like with the Nofriendo classic?

Also an article decreasing in price after the hype around its release has died down. Dsp must really not get out much. Does he think computer parts makers are failing to because they reduce the price of components?

Think they changed it to 15days recently?

Autists pooed their pants about the game selection ("wahh it doesn't have the games I consider to be the best") and the fact that it didn't have dualshock (lmao, original ps controllers didn't you fucking infants). So it wasn't nearly as anticipated but also imo the feeling of nostalgia just isn't as strong overall as it is with Bing-Bing-Wahoo. Also people old enough to be genuinely nostalgic about the NES/SNES are more likely to have more disposable income and so would balk less about the price point/game selection.

OT, I'll laugh and laugh if Phil winds up dropping like $350 eventually on all these classics consoles. Heavy is the head that wears the crown, King of Retro...

That 5 to 10% of his income annually can be anywhere from say $5K to upwards of say $12K a year in just people giving him a dollar to say 'HAHA Fuck you fatty, you suck'. While I don't specifically care about the money, I care that they are not entertaining me whatsoever and I would get infinitely more lolz out of piggy squealing because he has less money, this is exactly the kind of thinking that has people putting several thousand extra dollars a year into his bank account at the least.

This idea that 'It's not actually that much money' and that 'It doesn't significantly help him' is a misconception. That's enough to pay one third to half the Federal Tax liability on his income alone, it's enough to pay for one third to half of one of his mortgages per year, helping to buy him a house doesn't hurt his feelings. I've seen it repeatedly said, 'Well, it entertained me to call him a fagot and that's all I care about, besides how could $1 possibly help him?' You're never going to upset Phil by giving him money, but it for sure pisses him off to not be given money.

I agree you can't fight stupidity, but I certainly believe it deserves to be mocked.

Money naturally flows from the stupid to the smart, and Phil's detractors demonstrate that.

It's fake money if he gets it next month. Like an infant too young to understand object permanence. Hey, I get stock dividends every quarter -- FAKE MONEY.

Yeah, those guys keep giving him money. That'll show him.

Tbh, you didn't rustle any jammies. People were just pointing out how naive it is to dismiss individual troll contributions and their impact when added up. When you say 5-10% isn't such a big deal, it seems like you're forgetting that DSP earns gets a fuckton of money each month, with cheers and tips being the biggest contributors. For example, taking the latest monthly round-up:

Tips = $5,161.73, Cheers = $2,234.08

Let's take the middle road of 7.5% of those tips and cheers coming from trolls => ($5,161 + $2,234) * 0.075 = $554 in one month.

He can pay a third of a monthly mortgage payment with that and it could be the difference between his bank account being overdrafted or not. Multiply by 12, and you get a sum of $6,600 a year. It's really quite absurd, when you think about it.

Not a huge dent, my ass.

-edit- Kinda ninja'd by @Prince Lotor while I was typing up this post and doing other stuff.

I do see people's points on how it adds up.
Guess I am a bit "distanced" from it all since I know he'll fabricate the next financial emergenREE anyway :tugboat:
Call it naivety if you must. :)

I don't get the appeal of those "mini" consoles anyway.
If I want to play retro games I emulate them or I have an original system.

Phil eventually dropping a shit ton of money on the classics console likely will happen... i can already hear the prestream begging
"okay guise now that i've played the Sega system EVERYONE contacted me and asked 'Fill, are you going to play the other retro systems?"

He's the KING OF RETRO after all - that can't capture anything that doesn't have a HDMI port.
