So I took the the three outlines as well as the other ideas and wrote the script for a potential teaser trailer. I do apologize for the formatting be a bit off (I'm more of a novel guy than a screenwriter) but hopefully it reflects what everyone wants. If not I'm sure we can come up with something even better.
Update: Today I had some freetime so I scribbled out a possible opening for the movie. Due to the shortness of time I decided to just write it out like a story instead of writing it like a movie script. I will make changes to it if we decide to proceed with this route or if we decide to do something else.

WOGGLEBUG
Hello to you, my dear young friend. It's so nice to see you again

End
With the wind howling like a lost soul and thunder rumbling on the wrong side of Mount Calvin, Little Sylvie made her way across the Kiwi Moors towards the decrepit ruins that were what remained of the Royal College of Athletic Sciences. As she approached a bolt of red lightning flashed across the sky, momentarily illuminating the dark countryside. This is scary, Sylvie thought.
As she began to reconsider her journey, she saw something creeping around the yard of the school. Plucking up her courage, Sylvie continued onward. A few minutes later she had descended the hill and was approaching the rusted gate. She quickly gave it a push and with a loud squeeaaak the gate opened.
Feeling a mixture of brave and nervous Sylvie quickened her pace into the library. She had to find the entrance if she were to protect the butterflies. If she didn’t her mission would be a failure and mean old Mr. Damon would finally get closer to building another weapons factory.
Sylvie entered the library and began to look around. As she tried to find the book, she heard a crunch behind her. This was followed by a goofy voice saying “Hello to you, my dear young friend! It's so nice to see you again!”
Sylvie turned and saw Wogglebug standing at the door. “Go away Wogglebug,” she said. “I don’t want to talk to you.”
“But why not?” asked Wogglebug.
“Because you’re the reason the butterfly farm is going to wind up in the hands of Mr. Damon,” said Sylvie.
“Well I can’t really help that can I?” asked Wogglebug. “Now why don’t you come over here and give your good friend Wogglebug a nice hug?”
“No!” yelled Sylvie.
She quickly turned and ran up the spiral staircase. As she did, she heard Wogglebug running over. “Yuk Yuk I’m only going to hug you harder if you don’t come over here and love me!”
Sylvie made it to the second floor and quickly climbed onto the ladder. Down below she could hear Wogglebug swearing as he had gotten caught on the spiral staircase. Serves him right, she thought.
After running around the second floor Sylvie made her way over to the Mirror Door. As she approached, she heard Wogglebug running towards her. “I hope you’re ready for a good hug from your friend Wogglebug!” he yelled.
Without a moment’s hesitation Sylvie jumped through the mirror door. As she did, she heard the sound of Wogglebug angrily banging his fists against the glass. She smiled as being an animal Wogglebug could only exit through the mirror door into the school. If he wanted to go back into Oz, he would have to go through the official entrance which was currently blocked due to both Ozma and Princess Dorothy being done putting up with Wogglebug’s nonsense
