Even better if some from the Tea party steeped jury pool remembers a certain Supreme Court judge and the circus of a rape accusation that the Blue Checkmark brigade tried to crucify him with.

Vic messing around with an escort will only make him more sympathetic to the jury. Not just because it’s half expected that a flamboyant actor has had some sort of an encounter with filth in what they perceive as a filthy industry. (Hollywood in general).

But also because every single church going, Tea party loving jury member have had their own problems with sin and temptation.

As long as Vic can come across as an imperfect Christian as opposed to a hypocrite, they’d identify with him and like him more than they would with someone with a perfect Biblical record.

ETA: except come to think of it did they actually specifically ask him if he's ever had sex with Monica Rial? We haven't heard the whole deposition yet, but I don't think we have heard them ask that specific question. It would be interesting if the defense fails to ask that.

It's doubtful. Lemonhead would have asked Vic if he wanted that as part of his testimony, though I suppose he still may well do so and it's something that was redacted in the deposition attached to the filing he made. We haven't seen Monica's deposition yet, but I doubt that Ty asks either unless he's trying to specifically establish that they've never had any kind of sexual relations. Add in denial from someone who would know and doesn't have a lot of reason to lie about it and it seems unlikely.

His revealed indiscretions are completely irrelevant to the fact that his reputation suffered harm because he was accused of things that, if he actually did them, would have landed him under the jail yesterday. I can't see how the failure to substantiate any of the things that they stuck him with, especially the most severe things, would not severely eclipse his actual wrongs.

I imagine that most people who come across the testimony of his will be less than impressed when they realize that it was only being asked about to further defame him. Admittedly, I'm biased here because I've been watching this scummy behavior since basically the beginning of this whole mess, but I'm relatively certain if I was an unaware normie on the jury that had no idea what was going on, seeing one of the lawyers of the defendants asking questions that had nothing to do with the ongoing case and everything to do with assassinating the character of the plaintiff would leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I personally am not a believer because I think I'm perfect. It's because I'm not - far from it. I like to think of myself as falling into TheBechtloff mold - were it not for the grace of God, I'd be a freaking cenobite.

In regards to the twins he said he invited them and said he believed there was mutual attraction. He denies, under oath, that it even reached the alleged forced kiss.

Also in his deposition Vic very smartly described their positioning in the room. One twin sitting on the bed, one in a chair, and him seated in his own chair on the other side, putting a healthy bit of separation between the three of them. This was deliberate, in my opinion, though that doesn't make it false. It does go a long way towards giving a persuasive account that he never pressured or intimidated them with his presence in any way while they were together and allowed them personal space during this private interaction.

I'm very interested in hearing Vic's side of the Monica hotel almost practically rape story. I will be endlessly, simultaneously pissed off and amused if it turned out that Vic did kiss her, she said no because she wanted to play that bullshit hard to get coy game that some women do, and then got angry and bitter when Vic respected what seemed to be her wishes at face value and was perfectly okay with just being friends.

The only person specifically listed as "Tess Yost" when I searched just now was a writer in Washington.

Of all the DFE's I've ever seen anyone do, this has to be one of the most worthless and actually counterproductive ones. The only relevant thing about their LinkedIns was that one of them worked for The Tuttle Group. That's it. Why would you delete something that's supposed to help you with having a job-- you know, that thing you need to have so that you can stand a chance at not starving or being exposed to death?

Toei are likely waiting for the result of this case. They don't care about the next batch of lawsuits or what happens to Vic, they care about the practices of the company they've given their IPs to.

If they find out in no uncertain terms this company wilfully allowed their VAs to cause a controversy surrounding

A) Their most lucrative franchise
B) Their most successful American cinema release (to the DAY)

That's probably grounds to sever any existing contract(s) with them, I would assume.

What should have been a time of celebration was irrevocably marred by the accusations thrown at the VA of the titular character. The possibility that all this was based off of some sort of personal grudge between Western VAs is pretty damning for Funi.

The best way to answer this is to ask a very, very simple question.

Why destroy a contract with an existing studio and company, when you can use their failures to get a better contract?

Toei is likely going to simply re-negotiate all their existing contracts to give them essentially a iron grip over funi. I'm willing to bet that it will be so controlling that they will need to authorize which studios are used for VA line recording. Which for sabat.... well.... lets just say, I hope he likes paperwork and has the money to hire a translator to translate from english to japanese.
