I was only half listening during the stream - could his constant phone checking be him refreshing his banking app to see if the moolah arrived?
Maybe we get a gin-o-clock tweet about how NERVOUS(TM) he is because his payment hasn't cleared yet?
He already low key set it up a couple of days ago with "If the payment clears correctly" or however his wording was...

Also, his complaining about the vibration on his iPhone not working was something else...

I'm only one of those unwashed schlubs who work a 9-to-5 Job For Suckers but golly, I can honestly say I've never had a concern with whether or not my pay was going to show up, or when, or how. Sure is nice sometimes to be employed by a solvent entity rather than taking my cues from an exploitative side gig owned by a Bond villain.

How long will it be until he tells us about his behind the scenes issues? Will he drag it out until Thanksgiving again in order to gain more wheelchair bucks? Whatever the issue is you can see that it is started to break him down, his sleep schedule is trash, his drinking is getting worse, and now his streams are suffering due to these "distractions" (constantly being on his phone, long breaks, and a poor disposition). When he does finally let it slip we are in for some gold.

I don't think we will learn anything more about this behind the scenes issue until there's actually a REAL issue.

M.ilk rate is an interesting metric.

I like Summit1g. In 2016 he leaked his own tips/donations page. (Rounding to $200,000/year.) I think he was around 10000 subs and was getting a higher rate at $3 each. ($30K a month.) Averaging around 17500 viewers in late 2016-early 2017 per Twitchtracker. At the time the average Summit1g viewer was worth around $32 to him each year.

DisguisedToast did a really informative video on how much streamers can make. This misses sections of his income because he runs ads and has big sponsorships/sponsored streams, but he said that on Twitch he gets ~$2500 a month tips/donos and ~$14,000 a month in subscriptions while averaging 10,000 viewers. In tips+subs he sees an average of $1.65 a month from each viewer, $19.80 a year.

Twitchtracker had Phil averaging 400 viewers in 2018. If he has a range of $80-100K made on twitch, the average viewer is $200-250 a year to him, much higher than the other two examples. You could add Tevin's viewers to the average and the rate's still higher

I think this is indicative of how appalling Phil's stream is for normies. Any streamer with a following will always have spergs who throw money to get noticed by the streamer and/or act like a big kahuna in chat for having a sub/cheer badge. What makes the per viewer rates go down are the other people who just watch without dropping money. The big streamers are able to draw in those non-paying viewers through great gameplay and/or a good personality (and sometimes through tits for some female streamers). Phil has none of those, so he's left with just the spergs and detractors. Normies who casually drop in tune out quickly because there's nothing in there for them in terms of entertainment.

Pretty sure that if Summit and DT was as greedy as Phil and start to make up lies why they need more money, though, they can raise their per-viewer earnings.

Yeah, I can see it too. Pretty sure he's not called out individual patrons (or had a crawl) in....a long time.

It's another day of seasoning the schedule with "Life Stream" all over the place, as if he has any other formats. My vomit gets stuck in the throat as I try to decipher that unorganized mess.
You know Super Mario 64? Yeah it totally won after the executive decision. Now do Phil's literal job and find the best version, then pay him more money to tell him, because he's a good for nothing lifelong loser with zero ambitions.

Also a quick look in the Hate Forum, just for giggles. None of those is an ongoing series, they are dead, killed, because he's a natural lazy cunt who gives no shits about his fans.

Ambitious Youtubers these days try to get bigger and flex in more interesting formats in their already well known program, because they care, have talent and want to be special (in a positive way). Streaming culture and especially Phil does the polar opposite, because of the good old easy money: Cancel everything and descend into a mishmash (or as we Germans say: Einheitsbrei. A puree of boring sameness). Even if it makes you less money, why eliminate everything that made you somewhat interesting and pull viewers?

Because it's Phil, the genius of marketing. Phil, always up to date, really cares very much about his KWAHLITY. The man of the future who knows what he's doing and he will do it until the gin puts him to rest.

Oh hell no, he doesn't do those shoutouts. His Patreon is largely a lie.

Not to mention that asking on Twitch is better for him because he has to play the game as well as interact with the chat which forces him to just get to the fucking point instead of giving a long winded answer.

My take is that he tries to keep Khet in the dark about most of his financial issues and hasn't told her honestly the extent of the hole that he's in.

Ive ruled out the Pregnancy Theory thats been tossed around, just to me personally having my first child i couldnt wait to tell everyone once she was confirmed. And since hes married you figured it would be a given. But i think you're on to something, Rushed marriage, and im sure before Kat even met Phil, i bet he talked himself up, now thats they've been together for some time, little by little those tiny lies are starting to come out by the boat load. And i wouldnt doubt shes seen most of videos about Phil that show the true person he is and is starting to put two and two together. How Phil treated Pandalee after a few years is the same way Kat is being treated. That and how he handle his finances which is basically nonexistent. Im sure shes tired of hearing phil complain about his job when in reality, shes the one with a real job. Like Bill Burr once said, Dude, any job that you can do in your pajamas is not a difficult job, alright?
