I'm trying to maintain an objective viewpoint watching this deposition, but it amazes me how little things about Monica make me dislike her. I think she's trying to come off as jovial but it comes off as disingenuous.

As a former fan who enjoyed early 2k works like Noir, it is interesting to see the downfall happen in real time. These people are not only blatant liars from body language alone, but the fact that I've supported works she's been in makes me feel dirty. At this point I have no doubt Rial, Soye, and Marchi will be brought to justice, the lie is already unraveling is a beautiful way - what concerns me moving forward is Iago's (likely Sabat's) role in this shit behind the scenes as the puppet-master. Of course not letting Funi or Rooster Teeth off the hook is key too, then there's all those coming in round 2 (hopefully ANN etc.)

It's bad enough the licensing companies gate-keeping this industry are filled with SJW fags, but if they know they can get away with this kind of faggotry scott-free, they will be enabled to do more of this shit in the future. Hopefully Soyny has already been brought into this.

This is what an actor looks like when trying to bullshit.

I came in late to this party today (overslept, had a nice night out with friends) but around the time Nicky stopped analysing her body language and stealing my job.

Monica is remarkably composed throughout this deposition, and there's far less lulz on the horizon than, say, dealing with Soye's amnesia and Lemoiney-Snickets rasping demands of grinding women's faces into the dirt.

Rial tries a lot of subdued body language here, she's trying to make herself smaller and more feminine against the waif-like Carey. Shoulders down, arms in slightly when she's sat with her hands on her knees/thighs.

Holy shit does she glug water. Like, this woman likely caused a water shortage in Tyler County that day. This indicates a hell of a lot of nerves, and is a big, big key of what she does an awful, awful lot during this deposition:

She fidgets, a god damn lot. Like holy shit does Rial fucking squirm. She plays with her water bottle a lot and sort of realises this, alongside her dry mouth, this is why she takes a lot of slugs of water, a lot of them she doesn't need to take, its only when she does the retarded hamster cheeks thing is really the only water she needed to take throughout the whole deposition.

She plays with her rings quite a bit, and tries to keep her hands under control by locking her fingers together, she's aware, acutely she fidgets, and is desperately desperately trying not to every time she opens her mouth. Showing she's hiding something.

Her lips get pursed a god damn lot. She's trying to keep her mouth shut.

Every time she answers a question she cannot keep eye contact with Carey. Not once. Not in a "eyes moving around like you naturally would way" but she actively avoids looking to her for a huge huge slew of this deposition.

She does the "eyes to the left" thing which is generally seen as the usual "recalling memories" thing but here's where it gets interesting: Her eyes stay flat and level when she does so on several occasions, more of a sidelong glance to her counsel and two or three times it's followed immediately by her taking another big ole swig of water and fidgeting for ages with her god damn water bottle.

The Maxim-Eye Blinks come back again, but only when Carey wrong foots her and slams the gears on a completely separate subject. Monica starrrrrrres hard, trying to absorb all the info and every answer is rapid, harsh blinking.

She gets visibly annoyed several times in the deposition and her hooded eyes do not help her, she looks at times like she wants to scrape Carey off of her shoe.

There's different layers of smile to Monica, you got the giant ass horse teeth smile and a more controlled, closed off smile where only about half her teeth show. The latter is likely her more genuine smile while the former is the one she has to deal with the plebs.

In all, kind of interesting.
