TFS makes AoT Abridged episode 1. The series is immediately cancelled, and I think the episode might even get taken down. It's suggested that Japan side was about to nuke them from orbit if they attempted to continue.

If I remember correctly, it was because the series itself (The anime adaption of AoT) was still pretty fresh and hadn't even finished its first initial airing in Japan. This negates their whole "support the official release!" shilling since there literally was no way to actually do this and I specifically remember people in the comments calling them out on this, especially since they were using raw TV rip footage that you would find pirated online.

I also have something to add in regards to TFS being butt-buddies with Sabat.

Initially when Battle of Gods was the hottest new thing in all of Dragon Ball, there were two versions. The first is what was initially seen in theaters during its run and another released further in the year of an extended TV version which fixed a lot of the awkward pacing issues present in the film. It is this latter version that Sabat admits he had trouble trying to find and was so much of a sad boomer that he had to ask TFS if they had a copy they could share with him.

Now why would Sabat be asking for a pirated copy of something like this?

Well, it actually is quite simple.

I can't speak with regards to non-DB material but I know for a damn fact that Sabat relies or used to rely on tv rips of Dragon Ball Super for "pre-dubbing" purposes. What this was is that he would use the pirated footage and essentially schedule recording sessions for voice actors with said footage as a way to circumvent having to wait on Toei to send Funimation the necessary materials for official dubbing. Basically all they would need do at that point is get everything aligned properly with the audio they've a;ready recorded to the officially provided footage and soundtrack barring some minor adjustments here and there.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. One thing I've noticed about Chads is if they get turned down it doesn't faze them at all. They just move right on to the next candidate. They're not like betas who have to work their courage up to ask and are then devastated when told no. To a Chad, a no just means it's time to quit wasting time and find another one for the night.

This just happens naturally as people get older and less insecure than they were in their teenage years.

Generally as people become older and more mature, they become less needy of other people's approval. This makes you less likely to fixate on a woman you like and lessens fear of rejection. You get to the point with a girl faster (ie proposition), and if they're not about it, you laugh it off and move on. It might still sting a bit in the moment but you have more scope of life and the idea that it's not really a big deal is more grounded.

I don’t think Ben Singer and company are ones to chase trends really, or at least not recently. I haven’t seen any of those guys talk about Vic at all. Also, their battles are a lot of fan requests.
