Jealous people lie about a nice Christian guy who's more successful than them and use existing lies that came from mad fujos to try to legitimize their lies. Nice Christian guy has his entire life ruined in the span of about two weeks, and his reputation turned to mud. Drunk Lawyer with a small lawfirm points guy to a Texas lawyer, and he decides to sue. A GFM is created to help fund that, which is over $223k at the moment. The jealous people are ridiculous and stupid.

I know, it's just that I've seen this exact sorta stuff 5 years ago and it had the exact same issue. Laziness amplifies with complexity, for those not too interested but interested enough to learn more. By the way; thanks Allanon. That makes it a lot easier to swallow.

So Rial did a lot better than Toye at deposition, and notably didn't "not recall" every single damn thing like Toye.

So as for the "I do not recall" strategy, we have two possibilities!!

1) After seeing how poorly claiming not to remember anything went the first day, their lawyers abruptly changed strategy and told Rial to actually answer questions.

2) Toye himself thought up the brilliant master plan of claiming amnesia and didn't even tell his lawyers before denying knowledge of everything. And his own lawyers were just as shocked and horrified as his performance as everyone else was.

Personally I'm leaning towards #2, as #1 would require their lawyers admitting a mistake, and they seem like the dpuvle-down type.

Pro tipp to any tourists traveling abroad, if you're a victim of a crime (and dont' speak the language of your host nation) contact your nearest embassy or consulate, they can establish or at least give you contact information to english speaking local police authorities.

(BTW, my favorite detail from that story? The Italian policeman, who once he understood that they were talking about a rape, pointed at the hambeast and asked “Her?!” in disbelief. :story: :story:)

First of all, I refuse to believe that anyone can be so stupid, as to “flee” to the UK and try to report a crime that took place in a different country! “The European Union” doesn’t mean what this waddling landwhale thinks it means.

Secondly: Guess what the UK police would say, if you showed up and tried to report a crime that had happened in Italy? “LOL, GTFO!” would be an accurate guess.

Thirdly: She reports the rape again (for the second or third time?) in the US, and the overworked local PD promptly sends two detectives? For a crime they don’t have a snowballs chance in hell to investigate? And also give her a rape kit at the hospital, one month post rape?

And not to mention, the whole rape scenario just sounds iffy as fuck. (Never mind the fact that Florence is literally packed to the brim with hot, young students from all over Europe and the US, but of course he went for this landwhale?)

The alleged rapist is staying at her place, and post anal intercourse (That’s some haram shit right there!) casually crashes into slumber right next to her?

Doesn’t get the f out of dodge or worry about her slitting his throat when he’s asleep?

If there’s a basis of truth to any of this, it sounds like a disgusting one night stand, that she (with the help of a slut-shaming friend?) rewrote into a rape?

And years later, when she wanted to be a part of KickVic, she kept on adding to the yarn, and added the nonsensical police details?

That's why the real money in anime voice acting is in convention appearances.

Vic is also smart to spread his talents beyond anime. I had no idea he was a music producer who created jingles for commercials and such. Stuff like that on its own doesn't pay much either, but put it all together and he can earn himself a decent living.

For a moment, I was thinking they were trying to stop a "convention resurgence" based on his Broly role, but looking at animecons.com he had been hitting the con circuit hard for the last several years (spent at least HALF his weekends for the entire year at cons in 2018) so I don't think he was looking at significantly more con appearances in 2019 than the year prior. Of course, all things considered, it's possible that many of these people didn't know that he was at so many cons the last few years and got freaked out during a dream rape session. An interesting question might be how many of the KV people (excluding the VAs for obvious reasons) still go to cons, I've seen a bunch of people talking about how things were when they used to go to cons...
