I don't disagree, the problem is suing people isn't free, so we're asking people to do it just to see them get 'justice'. This is a difficult ask, I know I don't have 50-100k just laying around that I can flush down a toilet with next to no chance to get it back.

I'd throw a few dollars to a GFM for TUG to sue her. I think some understand how potent crowdlitigation is, but it really is a game changer for those of you who don't see it yet. E.g.
Zack, Hambly, Vic, etc.

It'd have to be structured as Vic's was, I'm starting to think BHBH or someone needs to start pursuing an internet practice.
If we just make a GFM that says 'to sue manjaw' then it'd be gone faster than we can blink.

This, and Vic didn't even want any of this. In his deposition, it's heavily implied that he only realized that something had to be done, and sought the lawsuit because he didn't know what else he could do because he was in a brain fog after getting Caesar'd by people he considered friends for decades and a company he worked with for just as long when all he wanted was to be a geeky boomer with his adoring fans especially after getting to be a part of a major success for the American anime industry.
Vic got lucky that he had the fanbase that he does and that Nick was aware of his getting #metoo'd, and he's lucky that his opponents are so exceptional that they've left solid records of their misdeeds (because otherwise this case could have been far more saddening and brief) but he still experienced the financial toll of seeking legal counsel, and even with the exceptional rate of this lawsuit, I couldn't imagine this not consuming his life as it stands. There's a sense in which the people responsible for trying to ruin him-- every major player including known randos like Marzgurl and Hunt-- ought to be brought to task so that "a message" is sent in the directly relevant communities but also society overall that you can't just do and say whatever you want for the sake of your personal dope rush... but lawyers gotta eat, and even someone like Vic has a limit for what he can put up with.
It's a sad proposition that people that contribute to the wronging of society through their re-popularizing and modernizing of the lynch mob and undermining the trust between the sexes by making excuses for not encouraging people to report sex crimes ASAP may not be taken up to task... but there's not much that can be done there when a lawsuit is a tangible thing with tangible strain on one's life.

Putting the legal spotlight on Hunt would be a public service. That woman is unhinged. Renfamous is another nutter but she is too fat and lazy to do anything but shittalk on twitter. Lemonjello, however, checks all the boxes of a deranged fan bunnyboiler. Eventually I see her acting out against these phantom rapists she sees everywhere when the con circuit stops taking her DMs and her little group runs out of public targets to shame on social media. She scary.

It's extremely telling how few relevant people to the case have even talked about her affidavit.
If I am honest, I do want to see her sued because the entertainment would be top tier, but I think that would probably not benefit Vic that much as manjaws credibility and voice is largely reliant on Rial and Marchi's extremely broad coattails.

To me, the question then becomes how do you stop these people from actively defaming Vic at every chance they get, harassing conventions that might hire him with their bullshit (as both Armzgurl and ljmontello have done) and using what influence they have, however limited, to try and make it bad PR for Vic to be employed?
They're unimportant in the grand scheme of things and worth very little, sure. But the internet means that it realistically only takes a handful of loud, hate-filled harridans with too much time on their hands to really fuck up someone's life like this. Without being forced to do so, we have no reason to believe they will stop their behaviour, not for years. Their less-committed friends might fall away, but those two as well as people like the penguin and Dominique Skye are likely to harass Vic to the ends of the earth unless they are forcibly given a reason to stop.
We can hope that cons, employers, people in general just start ignoring them. But until then, how can they be shut down, if they're not legally forced to do so?
