Arin Hanson / Egoraptor / Grump - "Hey I'm Grump!" of Game Grumps fame, hypocritical SJW doxer, shat himself recording a let's play

I'm a GameGrumps viewer and watch them almost daily. Just wanted to make an account finally after lurking on this site a lot and post here because recently I've noticed lots of frustrating things about the Grumps that make them borderline unlikeable (especially in videos like the power hours).
I feel like the atmosphere on the show is a lot more tense, both Arin and Danny don't seem to care as much and they seem kind of indifferent towards what they're doing as well.
Plus their 20 friends-on-a-payroll in their office makes me really annoyed, why don't they just fire some of them?
A small list of things that annoy me: Arin and Dan forgetting things, Dan literally being told what X is on the screen in a videogame and then 5 minutes later Dan is like "wait what's X??", the censoring issue where they blindly made a decision to censor their entire channel based on a fucking MatPat video.
Sometimes their personalities annoy me too, sure they can be funny but something about it lately just feels very fake and forced.
Arin is constantly trying to be quirky even though I suspect he's actually unhappy to be doing this and very tired of it. I don't know why I think it but certain drama and situations just makes that shine through for me at least.

Dan seems to be even less into it as during games he frequently sees something, or even does something himself and then forgets about it.
They did a Monopoly video where Dan threw a double roll of 2 5's, which made him roll twice. After rolling once he got to roll again, and he was like "oh I rolled double's??" even though if he was paying attention he would easily have seen that he just threw a double, because that's what you do when you're playing a game.

I watched their entire Undertale stream as well for some reason, it was very annoying sometimes how they would just not get things or forget things as if they had goldfish brains. Also I don't get the hate for Allie, she's really just trying and sure she keeps fucking up but I think the complaints in the chat are a bit entitled. When someone is trying to make entertainment people shouldn't be straight up attacking people with insults because they do some things wrong. Sure she was their stream coordinator and should have done a better job, but I doubt she was that experienced either and it was quite a big stream as well. Yes she made some mistakes, but big groups of people should not be attacking people attempting to do their job for doing it wrong. People are human and make mistakes like that, and even if it's inconvenient it doesn't mean she's a terrible person or should fuck off from the stream. What did annoy me was the large amount of misinformation she gave them, which is some big incompetence from her. I feel like she should have possibly studied up on what's to come or kept a guide or the wiki with her during the stream. Because instead of saying "I think um.." from what the chat says she should have just googled around a bit and given them a hint. It's not that difficult.

About the Switch situation, I suspect that the reason they can't finish it is that the savefile is on Allie's Switch, and Undertale is also a boxless game downloaded from the Nintendo store. Because of this the game with their savefile may only be accesible from her Switch, which she forgot. It's a bit unprofessional and I feel like they should have checked if she had the Switch before starting and promising a stream. They should have just delayed it and then made a new stream where she did bring it. Instead they chose to "not finish the story" which is annoying for several reasons, including that the fans wanted to see them end, the fans now have the idea that they beat Sans and just threw away the ending they themselves got to see which points towards indifference towards the game AGAIN after how many times they didn't pay attention during the stream, and it's just very unfriendly and rude to do that especially if it's just 10 minutes that would finish their 8 part series of Undertale streams. It's a big waste and it's quite rude that they chose to just not do it because Allie forgot her Switch rather than say that she'll bring it and then they'll do a new stream.

The wool is being pulled, most of the people who watch this thread have been there. It's hard to find Internet funnymen who aren't secretly exceptional, we just find our own ways to live with it.

Anyway, I knew Danny had a hard time with 3D games, but he can't even pay attention to his rolls in monopoly? The ship is sinking faster than I expected.

The Allie hate comes from the fact that her very presence during the streams (playing the role of the Grumps personal walkthrough guide) completely contradicts something Arin had bitched about in a previous playthrough he and Dan had done a few years back.
During their playthrough of Paper Mario - The Thousand Year Door , Arin publicly voiced his disdain for Dan seeking help from the fanbase in regards to what badges he should use to make battles easier because - according to Arin - it ruins the unique gaming experience for someone who has never played the game before (this was Dan's virgin run of the game). So, as far as Arin was concerned, Dan's experience was ruined because of fan interference.
And yet, Arin sees no issue with Allie being their guide during streams - telling him exactly where to go/what to do to get the best endings (because, apparently, it's what the fans want - despite the fact that fans in the chat are demanding that Allie be quite and let the guys play on their own). Throw in the fact that not only is Allie a terrible guide, but tries to force herself into conversations as if she's an honorary third host - as well as the fact that she's a terrible social media person - I can see why people would be annoyed by her.

https://www.reddit.com/r/rantgrumps/comments/ce3t41/after_two_weeks_of_keeping_everyone_waiting_for/ going to be honest I dont know how true this is since I stopped watching the streams. but if it is this is it's kinda sad.

Fun fact: a little over a few hours after you posted that, not only did Dan want to turn off the chat because viewers were rightfully pissed off that they weren't getting the stream (Undertale streams usually get around 60,000 viewers, the initial round of people who showed up for it was 30,000, and by the end of this stream it was less than 10,000), and he "didn't much care for what was being discussed.

Then right afterwards, the stream just went dark in the middle of a conversation. People sat there for an hour wondering what was happening up until the Game Grumps posted this on Twitter:
Yet another thread reminder that they spent upwards of $10,000+ on a recording setup complete with a touchscreen to select which consoles/PC/hard drives to display on the television, specifically to avoid this exact situation from happening.

I really hope someone recorded all of this; because the Lovelies are already 1) denying it even happened or 2) claiming his statement had something to do with Mario Maker 2's setup; not the chat streams criticisms.

Still doesn't change the fact that - shortly after whatever that was- Dan apparently walked out to take a personal call. Unless it was a family emergency, it's pretty tactless to interrupt a stream just so you can chitchat with someone.

How long was the stream running for before that happened? Also, was it really that hard to just plug the stream back in? Also curious if their donations suffered any because of all of this.

Just saw GameGrumps’s ad for the now defunct Dream Daddy event. Just look at all these people that I have no idea what they do at GG besides making a game that’s been out since 2017

That's okay - they've already got something planned for one of the Dream Daddy founders to do so they're not forced to let her go for being company dead weight. They even included more popular names to join her, so the chance of another failure is minimal.

Seriously - what would they even talk about?

'Dude' who's way too into two e-celebs said:
"guys touching is the best sensation ever, nobody ever touches me in MY life anymore. we need to go back to children times where we can platonic, I repeat, plaTONic hug each other together.. .? can you let me touch your bum like a normal person to feel this warm brotherly non sexual love uwu? I pwomise I won't wape u ! !1!"

I think my brain turned to liquified mush reading that.

Game Grumps wants to play games without fan influence, but they also play games that they think the fans specifically want while also not wanting help to play the games despite always needing guides for the games they play except it's the game's fault for not appeasing Arin who isn't playing up his anger for laughs except in the next episode where he'll supposedly confess to playing it up however Game Grumps isn't made up and is of totally raw reactions but sometimes footage is obviously edited to what appear to be "alternate takes" but that's because Game Grumps is a professional business unless you point out how fake the whole channel feels then the Grumps gush about how much they love the job and that it's the bestest ever.

Oh dear, I've gone cross-eyed.

Are they working on a sequel? Dream Daddy came out in 2017. If the whole crew is still on the Grumps payroll, then shouldn't that mean they're still working on something? When you pay a team to make something, you do it with the idea that what that team produces will earn you more than what you gave them. If they're not working on anything new, then they're literally being paid to bum around the office and talk to their friends.
