TGWTG Linkara / Lewis Lovhaug - HMMMMMMM? (Dead Gay Muppet Gangbang)

I literally don't know other than it's because he's lazy and never improves his craft. He managed to get Doug to use his shitty stuff, and then I guess decided to just use what was already there for it.

It really is amazing to watch him turn himself fully into that gay ass mary sue. If I knew at the beginning that he was 100% serious with this shit, I'd have laughed at him and left.

Oh god, I just realized that Linkara was my Maddox. I thought that he was making this garbage fire plotline series as a bad joke and it turned out he was serious and is in fact still a miserable fat high school kid with the bad fanfics about himself.

I never cared for the story in the little I watched of him, but I saw some pieces and never did it come across that this guy was doing a joke of a story. How would you do this “saga” in a tongue in cheek way, basically the opposite of...whatever Linkara’s doing?

And this is the guy who thinks he's a better writer than Doug

Yeah. I mean say what you want about Doug, but, let's be real he was the main attraction in CA and pretty much everyone else was just trying to leech on his fame and bandwagon on the angry reviewer fad.

Most of them only have a viewership due to Doug and most are just worse version of him. Linkara included. The only one I can think of that is doing better than Doug is Angry Jow as he has more subscribers. Joe himself has issues like lashing on his fans, but quality isn't one of them.

I don't want to be mean, but Linkara is not at Doug's level. Doug is a failed movie director; Linkara is a failed fanfic writer.

You're not alone. I sincerely thought he was just parodying the comic book industry by attempting to make some wacky pop culture references like how family guy randomly references Star Wars and Marvel in the same episode.

On a lark, instead of making the dude the hero of the story, he's just some unhappy dork trying to read comics for the internet but he has so mucb bad luck that he keeps getting attacked by things straight out of the comic book.

...but well, he just has to set the comics on fire to get rid of them. Or he doesn't take them seriously at all and the jokes are him throwing an alien conqueror out on the street and not dealing with it.

I vaguely remember he made jokes about why the hell would Mechakara want to replace him when he is just a failed writer and dork. But that probably was my brain providing more details than what really was there.

I just know I was done with him when he began to splice those story elements in a way that made just sitting there and watching the review suck.

the dumbest part of the AT4W movie is it's a sequel to To Boldly Flee. Why would you make your movie directly tie into someone else's movie.
Linkara is obsessed with canon. Even so, there's no real reason why it had to be a direct follow-up, except for it to be the spiritual fourth movie without actually saying so. I can scarcely think of any other reason.

Another probability is that he just has MCU penis envy and wants it to seem like every event in his internet nobody universe is just one event in a much larger story, even though it totally isn't.
Louis Williamson will never get inserted for two reasons: 1, he's a very obvious standin for Linkara and 2) Linkara would have to put in Louis William's big tittied Cat Girl girlfriend
He crossed-over Lightbringer with Angel Armor, and both characters were stand-ins for Lewis. And as established earlier in this thread, Lewis has not changed at all as a writer. He still does in 2019 what he was doing in 2006.

I'm just waiting for Tyrone Lincoln and Barbara Lisely to make their appearances.

Don't forget, this guy made an audio drama with a shitload of ex-producers after #ChangeTheChannel and in the process of its release, released a bunch of tidbits that put him over and bashed Doug, CA, and the 10th anniversary that never was.

Thinking about it now, it's weird the one time he ever successfully parodied comic book shit was in those recaps he did for two part reviews where the entire bit is shit that never happened and will never be resolved in between the parts. Unless those were by accident, which I'm inclined to believe.

Nah, that was the joke.

The funniest part of the movie is when a snarky reviewer #1 asks snarky reviewer #2 "Do you believe in God?". That one moment proves that linkara is still a terrible writer and that he doesn't understand comics at all.

Out of nowhere serious moments are meant for asshole characters or dumb characters or for comic relief characters (that around serious characters). It doesn't work when everyone is a self-aware, snotty, snarky, character with a powerset of the Doctor. You need to have actual characters to have this face turn because the whole thing is based around "Oh my gosh he actually cares" or "Oh my god he's not stupid". I get it he's trying to do a comic book thing when there could be multiple levels of seriousness, but what he doesn't get is that it's not just stupid shit and then suddenly a pretentious monologue. In your average comic book universe it's stupid shit but consistently sincere characters who are sincere all the time. He, however does the reverse: always serious situations and characters who alternate between being silly and serious.

He's really going the DSP rout I feel like, there's going to be a bunch of 'I need help!' Streams going forward when taxes are due, his audience isn't going to start suddenly go up. I think he needs to look at the tax livestream as the point where he needs to get a job

How much of this did you get through? And were they all playing new characters, or just their online personas again?

His angery voice comes off really as a nasally whine than even frustration, the dudes attempts at emoting are like he's never actually interacted with another person before.

Yeah, even the Austin Powers movies work on a level as mediocre spi-fi, if you toned down the silliness of the situations, had a fairly dull British guy spouting one liners and did away with the golden cock it'd be a basic bond wannabe, but if the tgwtg crowd wanted to fo something like that every character would be Austin Powers
I listened to the whole episode I’m not too familiar with these people but it was all in their review personas I’m guessing.

A sample of linkara's fic. Centauri is linkara's self insert Mary Sue:

Is Linkara's movie worth watching in a so bad it's good way?
No. It might be laughably shot and there are some hilariously bad moments like Mechakara's robot skeleton but it's not even fun to make fun of. It's mostly painfully boring. The movie's 1 hour and 30 minutes or so but it feels so much longer than that.

Has anybody even reviewed it?

I forget his name but there was one Nostalgia Critic ripoff (whose views were in the hundreds) that was going to review it but backed off when his fans told him that Linkara's movie was a "feminist" movie and as such the reviewer didn't want to criticize it because criticize feminist films is something Gatorgate Dudebros do.
