The state of the world is crazy. I know troons, who have fought long and hard to get Hormone replacement therapy (sometimes even years) and all they want is to feel comfortable in their own bodies and live their lives with a sense of peace. Some have had SRS which is quite terrifying and faced months and months of healing. They don't screech about stupid shit like ball waxing. All they care about really is paying their taxes and paying off mortgages while not drawing attention to themselves.

Yaniv puts on a dress and smears makeup on and proceeds to make a mockery of everything troons have fought for. He is setting a precedent that every troon is batshit crazy and looking to extort money from people over the dumbest shit.

However, the trans community also brought it on themselves because NONE of them are calling things for what they are. They are so afraid of being seen as 'pretending' to be trans that when they see an honest to god example, they go silent. They don't want to be seen as traitors.

But in their silence, it just makes it seem that they tolerate this behavior, which is worse than calling it out.

The forum seems to be going back and forth on whether Miriam is the psycho that molded Jonathan into the bizarre creature that he is and continues to push him on this campaign or whether she has become a senile old lady who is being exploited or even abused. Any idea where the truth lies from seeing the way they interact?

The truth is probably somewhere in middle, like most things. If Miriam has been unstable to a degree for any extended time, it would logically follow that it would rub off on her child, especially after her husband died and she became Jessica's sole parent and role model.

We probably can't say with any certainty Miriam is being abused (unless manipulation is accepted as a form of mental abuse). However, Miriam is definitely being exploited as exhibited by Jessica coaching her to testify the other day and then loudly prepping her on the balcony later that evening in hopes she would recall enough of the prepwork to portray Jessica as a poor oppressed victim the next day. This is probably equally attributable to Jessica's manipulative, controlling nature and Miriam's diminished mental capacity.

And as @ProblemDog posted as I composed this, it's possible that Jessica and Miriam are engaged in some sort of mutual manipulation against each other -- Jessica manipulating mom into parroting stuff about oppression and Nazi stalkers while Miriam encourages Jessica's dramatic attention-seeking by saying what her child wants to hear. We may never know all the dynamics of their parent-child relationship (and we many not want to know, either).

Honestly as much as I appreciate people using “Jonathan,” the “Jessica Yaniv” name doesn’t seem to be as tarnished as far as search engine results.

Patience is a virtue here. With the publication ban just lifted and widespread coverage of the case starting to take off, it's likely just a matter of time before this changes. Grab some and enjoy the show.

Thats nice. here's the problem, we're not even talking abot a %13/%50 situation were talking about a %.06/%90 problem. You couple that ratio with the fact that gender dysphoria when treated as a mental illness leads to a better life for the individual as opposed to appeasing personal delusion. Absolutely. And I can say on good authority that there are definitely detransitioned individuals posting here who are grateful for the no-bs, powerlevel-discouraging environment where they can just cut loose instead of writing a fucking gender autobiography first or strictly aligning with any one ideology.

You're right but, my understanding is a civil suit is different than troon-court. I really don't know jack shit about canuckistan but the BCHRT scam seems to be working so well for him because he faces no reprocussions if he pussies out and drops the case or even loses, he literrally has nothing to lose. If its an eviction issue I woulds hope that can only be filed in canadian civil court where if its anything like US civil court a judge doesn't give a fuck about anything but the HOA violations. People in the states try shit like this all the time in eviction court "landlord threw me cause I'm a fag" it usually never works if conflict arises after rental/hoa agreements breached. I would hope candada would hold the same standard. Like Null said must be hell living next to these people.
