>a 529-page TCPA that's just #kickvic's Greatest (Social) Hit(Job)s

Hopefully Chupp sees the only proper response to this:

Also, when I saw the reactions here to the TCPA, my first thoughts were "The shroud of the woke side has fallen. Begun, the Weeb War, has." and "I at least know that I'm calling this patch of time 'Episode 2: Attack of the Affidavits'."

As mentioned previously, there is a discrepancy between the affidavits of Lynn Hunt (pg 310) and John Prager (pg 370) regarding Vic harassing Japanese singer Mari Iijima.

From Hunt's affidavit, emphasis mine:

From Prager's affidavit, emphasis mine:

So was it 2007 or 2010? It appears Iijima appeared at the con both years (as well as other years). So did Mignogna. AnimeCons.com for 2007 and 2010.

For answers, let's look at the affidavit of Whitney Falba (pg 329), the "Live Events Chair" for Tekkoshocon 2007. Falba does not mention Iijima. She does mention this story:

Where have I seen a story like that before? Oh, it was Hunt's affidavit:

Okay, so Hunt and Falba seem to agree that this incident happened in 2007, and if this happened the same year that the Iijima incident happened, then that means it happened in 2007 and Prager just got the year wrong. And one or both of them misrememberd exactly how many underage girls Vic apparently had in his room. But then why wouldn't Falba mention the Iijima incident if it also happened in '07?

I mean, it's all just… Are lawyers able to catch this stuff and go back to affiants and say "your stories conflict, so you guys need to remember what the truth was and rewrite these" before they file things like these with internal inconsistencies like these?

Also, has anyone ever reached out to Iijima to get her side of the story? Searching for "mignogna iijima harassment" or "mignogna iijima stalking" and ignoring recent articles returns this interesting Yahoo! Answers thread but nothing else of relevance that I can find.

All of this and no one seemed to want to talk to the person who was supposedly harassed....Mari Iijima herself. Was she ever talked to about all of this?

She has contact information. Did they ever contact her?

Kara im at a loss of words

stunning and brave

I truly wonder how you survived that tickling incident with vic

she is such a powerful woman

Maybe because they're not victims of anything?

I wouldn't be surprised if a certain group of unemployed Twitter lawyers wrote that pro-bono on every waking hour of the past 15 days and just forwarded it to Lemwah - just on the offchance they can claim they won the case all by themselves with it. Because they're that desperate for attention.

Honestly, I would count on it. I doubt Lemoine wrote all of that or that Soye paid for, like you say, a fuckong of billable hours.

The self congratulatory to the lawtwitter and threadnought in the footnotes is what makes me think this is accurate.

And that are all part of the same super lawyer pay for title scheme.

They didnt even call that Stan guy, I doubt they'd call anyone in Japan. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Funi specifically forbade them from calling Japan given how pissed off Toei supposedly is about this drama.

“Why don’t victims come forward”

Because fake victims like yourself give them a bad name, because when fake victims like you pretend that the person whose life they want to destroy is so “powerful” You unironically become the powerful individual that silences their actual victim voice.

Fuck You, Kara Edwards.

How is this supposed to not hurt them?
No idea.

Keep in mind this from Adam Sheehan, who is close to Jessie Pridemore. There are those old texts from Pridemore to Todd Haberkorn slagging on Vic's appearance and his ex Michele Specht, and bragging about making Vic uncomfortable when she was drunk at a convention. According to Vic's depo, he doesn't even remember meeting Pridemore and Sheehan always pretended to be friendly. For years they were all just trashing him behind his back and passing around shitty rumors like they were high schoolers, it's disgusting.

By the way, if there was any doubt at all, Funimation is made up of a bunch of assholes

Except again, doesn't Vic do most of his anime voice-over work at his own studio?

I would expect these 'Vic Locks" to be there considering that there needs to be no external sound in the booths and that the ADR engineers shouldn't be disturbed when recording, but then what of the ADR engineers? Are they seeing anything? "Vick Locks", "Vic Whisperer", it's like Vic is living rent-free in these guy's heads.

I think Nick said that lawyers are at the mercy of their clients. You can say whatever strategy you want, but if your client puts their foot down, that’s it, that’s what you’re doing. Lead horse to water but can’t make him drink and all that shit.
I disagree. I can shove its head in water. drink or drown bitch.

In all the panels I've watched (which is a lot while digging for info on all this stuff), I've only ever heard Vic say he recorded his RWBY lines at home. I don't think it's common for him to record for Funimation at home, but I could be wrong.

Well she seems to be utterly insane, considering how she views herself as a musician, so there's no telling whether she'd go along with this bullshit in an attempt to get more than 3 people to show up at one of her "musical" performances.

And SOMEHOW, despite Vic being such a danger to Funi employees, NONE of that made it to the official kangaroo court investigation specifically undertaken to fire him.

But a jellybean...

Imagine that.

This is what gets me. Nevermind, the absurdity of their claims, but if he was this bad, they should reported it! Look I know people are sometimes too scared to report it, but I would have thought at-least one or two.
Has there been ANY police reports? Forget Funi, cons, etc reports.
