With stuff like this, there's only so much I can believe as far as Vic having power.

One newbie voice actor? Maybe. A secretary? Sure. Intern? Definitely... But you have locks installed, and people making jokes about them being specifically for one guy, it assumes that most if not all the people are in on it. No one in that office truly believes Vic is so powerful that they would be ignored. FUNI took one word from Monica and started an investigation, so why did it take so long if he was this bad?

It's all bullshit, and I think the bullshit is as simple as "For the affidavit, I'm going to make this claim that's completely unfounded and holds no factual application" People just wanted to make Vic look like a monster, but in doing so they made themselves look like fucking lying shitheels.

I hadn't thought about it until you said this, since the whole idea of "Vic locks" was so absurd on the face of it, but you're right. Apparently everybody (or at least a significant number of people) knew he was a dangerous sex pest, but were utterly powerless to do anything about it until...a single complaint. A complaint about something that occurred literally years prior. Something about that doesn't add up. Granted, we all know this, but still.

No need for calls to Japan, IIRC she's residing in Los Angeles and not Japan.
Also contact info from her webpage:
PO BOX 341043, Los Angeles, CA 90034, USA

Wouldn't been really hard to contact her if they really tried too, but why should they? IMHO, it's pretty clear that non of that "stalking" ever happenend.

Well, fuck me then.

But that its clear it didnt happen is the reason they didnt. Theyre not trying to show what he did or didnt do, but what people are saying he did. Theyre not going to go interview someone who will derail their bullshit, theyll just go with the hearsay and rumor.

I guess they didnt expect Ty and others to actually follow up. Its got to be hard being a lawyer for people so full of shit you cant actually mount a feasible defense.

Ive dealt with many a public defender and theyve all got that thousand yard stare of someone who started their careers to help the innocent and quickly find the innocent dont call for their services.

1. Why is she reading off thank yous like she just won an Oscar?

2. There are too many things she misrepresented or lied about here to go through them all, but one blatant one that jumped out to me is she says the emails between Michele and Vic happened "months before kickvic happened" when it says right on the fucking screenshot she posted that they are from March 14 2019. Kickvic started in January, and Specht was liking those tweets very early on.

goddammit, cougar'd.

Absolutely nothing.
Also, I noticed that in the motion itself, they started off with that Twitter story that was BTFO.
Refresh my memory, did we ever figure out if Vic even worked at the school in question?

His wiki says he taught at a school in florida and later in houston, but before this graduated from the school in virginia not taught at. Her claim was that he was 26 at the time, which afaik would be after he graduated. Her claim was that it happened in 1989, yet he moved from Florida to texas in 1990. Which means that in less than a years time he moved to florida from virginia, taught in jacksonville and then became a cop in ocean city and then moved to Texas....?

Kiwi Farms will also be raided by the glow in the dark niggers and we will all be deported to New Zeland. Regardless of country of origin. This backfires horrifically. We organize and overthrow the New Zeland government and turn the country into a military superpower. Then we take over the world for LOLz.

That wouldn't be all to hard to accomplish, as I'm pretty sure the Farms have more members that New Zealand has population inmates.

It really is amazing that they need over 500 pieces to puzzle together a picture, when all you need is...

One...

Factual...

Claim.

ALL YOU NEED IS ONE!

So, I could have missed something, but all the supporting evidence for the affidavits (like emails and other communications) are from after this whole thing kicked off (late January to early March).

In the footnotes, they try to cast a negative aspersion over the absence of the Florida school from his resumé.
Motherfucker, it's perfectly normal to leave out irrelevant jobs from your work history.
I'm an engineer - I'm not going to tell prospective employers about the time I spent working at a pizza joint in high school, because they're not going to give a shit.

<TPCA summary>
Wow, look at all of these pieces of evidence and claims of fact that will have to be reviewed by a trier of fact before a decision can be made. You know, by a jury in a trial.

This is why their TCPA motion is doomed to fail. They're presenting their case rather than pointing out obvious and glaring issues with the plaintiff's case. By trying to argue their trial case in the TCPA motion, they're torpedoing their TCPA argument that the case shouldn't go to trial.

Never thought I would regret the phrase "Facts don't matter" yet here it is.

Upon looking further into it, he was in a play at the school in march of 89. But her claim was that he was "26 year old talent as assistant director. He worked as a cameraman at the church affiliated with our private Christian school, and produced Christian music videos" Which is a bit confusing considering the evidence of him being there is him being in a play.

Lets assume its completely true, the story is that he aggressively tried to make moves on a girl, she refused and he told her to leave. Granted it supposedly was a little more severe of a situation than that sounds.

Every story about Vic seems to end in him understanding the concept of consent in regards to actual sex. He goes in for a kiss, or suggests one or something, gets turned down, and then they leave. Wheres the rapist? Hell wheres even the pedophile? In 1989 the age of consent in Virginia was 15, and afaik age span laws weren't implemented until the late 90s, but i can't find history of Virginia in particular in this regard.

At worst it seems like hes terrible at reading people, is horny as hell, but has boundaries around consent when it matters.

I mentioned this in Nick's stream thread, they aren't playing to win the motion. They are playing to ruin Vic's reputation in a salted-nuclear strike. The stuff in this TCPA is going to follow Vic around the rest of his life as if this hearsay garbage were facts proven in court. This is what Ron, Monica, Shane, et al meant when they said "it will all come out" not that it would be factual (these people don't believe in objective fact) but that people will hold this very public narrative against him forever.
