This is a pretty good take on why Contrapoints videos aren't actually going to de-radicalize anyone other than the marginally unintelligent, easily-impressionable and otherwise ineffectual.

I'm not so sure that it's the most nuanced or balanced take on the matter, but the video provides some fairly compelling reasoning and justification for why the establishment government and leftists would get their asses kicked extremely hard in the event of a second civil war. At the very least, it's an entertaining hot take on the matter.

If the guy who made this video is reading this: In the past I haven't put too much stock in the "Contra will detransition" theory, but the fact that you (as a detransitioner) see it as a possibility is making me majorly reconsider.

I do like how the alt-right is so popular and needs to be taken to task and yet NPR is giving YouTube commies airtime, and taking them seriously. No one does that with the alt-right. How delusional do you have to be to believe that the alt-right is a serious threat when every other day internet commies get dick sucking articles written about them? Goddamn, I used to really respect NPR.

It’s also telling that Richard spencer was interviewed by vice and cnn but not any major right wing news outlets. In fact all I can really find of him was one 2007 article he wrote in the American conservative (which isn’t even as major as vice or cnn).

He was interviewed LAST WEEK. Richard Spencer, actual white nationalist, was on CNN. Where's the outrage from the usual suspects?

The left wing outlets are interviewing him and not the right wing ones because the left wants to associate the entire right with white nationalism, and can frame the interview as " a talk with avid supporter of white supremacy, Richard Spencer, who is your typical, average republican".

The right doesn't want to be linked to him, or accused of promoting him, so they ignore him.
