Jonathan Yaniv / Jessica Yaniv / @trustednerd / trustednerd.com / JY Knows It / JY British Columbia - Canada's Best Argument Against Transgender Self-Identification

I’m probably being too sensitive, but I feel all these people are going to fuck things up and they actually will make the hearings private, especially with the Facebook event and secretly recorded videos. I know it’s funny to hear this stuff, but if guests play by the rules they have no grounds to do what Jonathan wants. Doing this shit ruins it for everyone.

I expect some disagrees, but I just want the mílk to continue flowing, and by written transcript is better than by nothing.

Yes, you are too sensitive. The nature of things being public means that they will be documented. There is no decision for anyone to make.

But courts, real or fake, have rules against recording things like this. It’s not like recording someone in a public park. And the possibility of them making it private IS there. There’s no need to give Jonathan ammo for his plights for some recordings of things we’re already hearing.

The 640x360 is too big and the other two video formats (256x144 and 426x240) and don't get recognised as video, so here's the audio. m4a isn't recognised to I transcoded the m4a to mp3 like this

Code:
ffmpeg -i Jenn\ Ricky\ Smith\ was\ live.-332879034287316.m4a Jenn\ Ricky\ Smith\ was\ live.-332879034287316.mp3

... so here's the audio as an mp3

I understand your concern, and I'm certainly no expert in Canadian law, but:
  • The court itself openly admits the audio is being recorded at all times
  • The recordings we have so far took place after the publication ban was lifted
  • None of the recordings took place streamed live or immediately placed online during the hearing
  • There doesn't seem to be any spoken restriction on recording devices
  • The court member has extended a considerable amount of leniency to the complainant regarding his (HERS, SHITLORD) Wifi connection and the constant checking of Twitter
  • The court itself has implemented little to no sanctions on Miriam taking pictures of the attendees.
Also, if Jonathan points towards KF as the source of the video recordings, he undermines his own stance, and he knows it. :story:

edit: a couple of pedantic points

Seems like a pretty good care for it being safe to me. I can't wait to lap up all of Yaniv's tasty tard cum.

I like the way Jenn Ricky Smith's friends think. The Oger is definitely the next boss fight after Yaniv is vanquished.

@goinglikeelsie is tweeting. Is there a preferred way to archive long twitter threads? I tried archiving but it got cut off. I fully admit I’m a dumbass, any advice would be appreciated.

Archiving each individual status is tedious, but might be worthwhile given the current goings-on.

At the very least, when elsie calls the threadreaderapp, archive that unrolled concatenated thread, for sure. It should provide a linked, single document at the end of her Twitter thread, ripe for archiving.

The involvement of people like Smith, who went on an anti-SOGI speaking tour which blah blah BC politics but basically is seen publically as a mean anti-LGBTQ meanie, and media outlets like Breitbart is going to turn off the people who need to pay attention to this thing. It's easy for a nice feminist good girl to dismiss Stephen Crowder or Breitbart or this person the second they open their mouth, and the more the "rightosphere" spreads this story, the more reluctant moderate media actors with bigger reaches will become - they'll see this case as pure sensationalism and won't approach the issue with the tribunals at all. Plus Smith has some dumb Q-anon level conspiracy theory about Oger being a CIA plant.

This appears to be complete for her tweets today thus far: https://web.archive.org/web/2019072...com/goinglikeelsie/status/1152733157805789184

What I found the other day was that I had to click into the very first tweet of the thread and use its url to start the archive. Even then, I sometimes seemed to lose the latest tweets, even though they were up when I asked for the archive.

But I repeated the action periodically during her long night of tweeting because I was afraid something would happen - that she'd get dumped by Twitter or something - and just kept throwing away the link to the previous archive until I had one with all the tweets.

When she threadrolled successfully at the end, I then archived the threadroll and posted that plus a text version that I cleaned up the formatting on the next morning.

A threadroll vanishes if the account it's based on is taken down so archiving's important once one's generated.

Would be happy to learn of a better way to capture her stuff.

Edit: Pasted in the right link because... sped.

Zxche who fights with Ogers should be careful lest zxche thereby become an Oger and if thou gaze long into The Farms, The Farms will also gaze into thee.

Someone is going to do it. There is no way to stop it so there isn't any reason to fret about it.

When she's done, use @threadreaderapp and then archive that. That in addition to archives of most of the actual tweet threads will work fine.

New article from The Post Millenial. There is now a GoFundMe for the women being sued by Yaniv.
Fundraiser launched for Yaniv victims - The Post Millennial

Concerned Canadian women on Twitter have organized a campaign to support the targets of Jonathan “Jessica” Yaniv’s Human Rights Tribunal claims. Yaniv has brought Human Rights complaints against sixteen British Columbian estheticians for declining to provide waxing and other services her still-male genitalia.
Twitter users Heather Juniper, @AbsnceofEvidnce, and Holly Hutton, @HollyHutton, were distraught by the impact Yaniv’s discrimination suits had on the women and collaborated to establish a GoFundMe to raise resources for them. The campaign, which launched on July 19th, hopes to raise $70,000 to equally distribute amongst the sixteen women accused under Yaniv’s claims.
“These women don’t deserve this,” says Juniper, “They are working hard to be financially independent. At least one of them is disabled.”
Of the sixteen women, four are being represented at no cost to them by the Alberta-based Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms. Some of the women Yaniv accused opted to settle with her out of court, fearing a lengthy and stressful process, for amounts ranging between $1,000 to $5,000. Others, according to the Justice Centre, have become completely non-responsive, some even disconnecting their phones. Of those being represented by the Justice Centre, at least three are immigrants.
SP, from Clayton Heights in Surrey, had explained to Yaniv that she had no training in waxing male genitals—a procedure called a manzillian which requires both different experience and different equipment to perform. She alleged feeling harassed by Yaniv after declining service.

MDS, an immigrant from Brazil, operated her business out of her home where small children were present, and declined services to Yaniv on the safety grounds raised by her husband. After Yaniv pursued her legally, she was forced to shut down her business. Like SP, MDS alleged felling harassed and threatened by Yaniv after declining service.
BH declined on both safety and religious grounds. A Sikh woman who immigrated to Canada, she felt uncomfortable handling male genitals in her home-based business where small children were present.

SG, a Punjabi immigrant who also declined services on religious and safety grounds, would drive to clients’ homes to perform esthetic services. Because Yaniv’s home was out of her work radius, she explained she felt unsafe, and could get lost.
She suffers from epilepsy and has suffered emotional difficulties since the case began.
While Yaniv was initially demanding $2,500 from each of the sixteen estheticians, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has confirmed that she has since increased her financial demands to a staggering $8,000 per woman affected by her claim. The BCHRT will determine whether or not Yaniv is entitled to the alleged compensation.
Juniper and Hutton’s GoFundMe hopes to distribute $7,000 to each esthetician but recognize a challenge in that some of the estheticians have shut down public communication due to stress, trauma, fear, or for other reasons.
Juniper confirmed that if the campaign is successful, the four estheticians represented by the Justice Centre will be paid immediately through their lawyers, while the remainder of the funds are held for six months as communication with the remaining estheticians is attempted.
Any funds unable to be distributed to an esthetician will be split and donated to Vancouver Rape Relief, a rape crisis shelter defunded by the city of Vancouver for refusing to alter their policy of providing a safe space to females only, and the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms.
Any estheticians impacted by the claims of Jessica Yaniv, and desiring to establish communication with Juniper and Hutton, are encouraged to reach out to The Post Millennial.
