There was certainly a lot if hurt in that email. What she did with it, in helping others to destroy the man's life is just vindictive. She obviously is not over him or that email would never have seen the light of day.

He was a dick to her and should have let her go way before that and not sheathing the worm while messing around and then bringing God knows what home is just shitty. With all that though, his regret and even repentance are shown in his face and his subdued words. I think the man is truly sorry; both for what he did to her and falling short of being a faithful Christian.

I expect to see a significant increase in defamation lawsuits against women in the next few years, followed by a significant falloff of bullshit sexual assault allegations against men. Even the police are fed up. Look at the women getting charged with filing a false report. Even prosecutors are getting fucked. The Duke lacrosse team prosecutor got disbarred and went to jail (for a day).

I'd wager everyone here knows or is even close to someone who was sexually abused/assaulted; even if you don't know you know them.

I have friends and family that were sexually assaulted and the Kavanaugh debacle and those that I've shared Vic's onslaught of hug rape allegations with are pissed.

We, as a society, had started getting to a point where a rape victim could come forward and report it without a barrage of slut shaming and summary dismissal.

Now, #metoo has been weaponized and has been coopted by the shittiest of people who don't give a f*** about what they're doing to real victims so that they can assassinate a decent person for no other reason other than envy. Real victims have been set back 10 years and God only knows how many real rapists will get away because of these most evil of mollusks ruining the victims' chances of being heard.

If I were them I'd be trembling at the thought of standing before God and answering for the blood on my hands. Like the self righteous Pharisee boasting of his "right side of history" and the humble tax collector (voice actor) who bowed before God and denied he was worthy; which left justified?

Yeah, maybe that reference is a stretch but I hope you can see what's eating me about this.

Something work noting is that even massively popular IP’s make the lion’s share of their profits through merchandise.

Of the $90 billion generated by the Pokemon franchise, less than 1/3rd of that is games and other media. The rest is merchandise. DBZ is a similar split.

I had a bit of a ramble going, but cutting a long story short; if you don’t like American dub studios, pirate anime, buy stickers and figurines if you want, and rest easy.

GG was mostly about the press and the collusion going on behind closed doors between game developers (mostly indie) and game "journalists" who would give biased reviews and write biased articles about games because they were all essentially in one huge friend circle where they were financially supporting each other and secretly working to take down others inside the field who weren't part of their clique or who didn't fall into their narrative. It kicked off when some jilted dude posted a series of blog entries in WordPress detailing how this one turbo slut slept with a bunch of journalists for polygon and some guy who was married behind his back and abused the shit out of him and even "raped" him by her own definition. Her attempts to silence him brought out the Streisand effect in full fucking force and people started digging into her past and they uncovered a hornets nest of corruption. Usually anyone looking for info of GG I direct them to this wiki article here since if you look it up anywhere else, it's been edited and changed to say it was a harassment campaign when it wasn't at all.

It's more or less companies just avoiding their ire. GG's real victory was supposed to be just in "journalism" to make sure the gaming "journalists" would remain impartial when they would review a game or write an article about a dev or a studio or some such instead of giving favored reviews and stuff because they were either paid off, were BFFs with them or had their dick sucked one too many times by some gross slut. They got some journalist sites to change their rules and put in place policies where people were required to disclose if they had personal relationships with anyone they wrote about or any game that was worked on by someone they had a personal relationship with to at least let people know right off the bat that the article was going to be biased.
