Monica Rial / Monica Jean Rial / Rialisms & Ron Toye / Ronald Toye III / rontoye3 - 5th Bulma and Ron "Pick Up the Phone or You'll Find Your Dog Dead When You Get Home" Toye

I'd expect more Froppy assmad. That or she necks herself. Monica Rial at least had a long VA history; AWL was banished to niche weeb vidya shit (and uncredited) pretty much immediately.

Speaking of being uncredited... I don't know if anyone's connected the dots but I wonder if this obsession with removing Vic from credits has something to do with Monica being pissed about Vic being credited on the boxart for Tsubasa Reservoir.

Edit: Just guessing here but it seems like the production of copies with Vic's name was probably limited run which would explain why it's hard to track down the boxart with his name. I imagine Monica threw a bitch fit at some point until it was agreed that the name be redacted. She seemed exceptionally salty about it though. Anyway, the website has multiple volumes listed with the artwork that includes Vic's name. Vic is listed on volumes: 2. Seeds of Revolution, 3. Spectres of Legend, 5. Hunters and Prey and 6. A Wish Upon Waking.

Wait where's his.... Oh, fuck off Monica. You really think anyone is gonna take a second look at the ant sized font in the bottom corner of the box? Absolutely fucking petty.

That 12-point font was something that distinctly bothered her, to such a degree that she mentioned it quite prominently during a deposition where she forgot details about her, <ahem>, "sexual assaults." Telling, isn't it?

The Sheepdog and Monica should never breed. Their children would be an affront to humanity.

Please don't insult Mel Brooks and John Candy like this.

Neither deserve that.

With Rial and Marchi you are over analyzing I think. (And thankfully Rial has managed to keep her clothes on in public unlike AWL). What's going on there is simple. Actresses age like tard cum. Actors Age like Teak. Or perhaps a fine wine. Any good actor will continue to get work into their 80's so long as their voice stays strong. Actresses start finding work falling to younger competitors when they hit their 40's, even just voice work. Very few get past that for a late life career. This leads to a sense of resentment, for which Vic is a near perfect target and poster child.

Part of it is, sadly, resentment. Rather than accepting the "older" roles, or getting good agents in that help them embrace this new phase of their career they desperately try and claw on to whatever facet of youth they can get.

You can see it with the (surprisingly large) stable of older, UK actresses who move into narration and different acting roles, embracing it and letting people who've followed them in their earlier career continue to enjoy them.

Some, of course, don't let it get to them one iota, or save all their energies for those moments where, just by acting, they feel so much younger. The younger actresses in the recent adaptation of Little Women were utterly blown away by Dame Angela Lansbury, for example.

Sadly, in America, it seems that wonderful experience and characters that they could be is often tossed by the wayside.

Not that any of this matters, of course, Rial's relatively low on the totem pole anyway and her acting isn't that awesome anyway.

Does that mean we'll get to hear Rial bitch on Twitter about Bulma being recast in 10 years when Dragon Ball Super Dee Duper comes out ?
10 years? they will all be fired the moment Japan sees the DB numbers in the west tank.
they have a much better and succesfull VA to replace her. OG Bulma did some DB super voiceacting for the Asian market.
they will have to cast clean and high profile VAs to replace them.

It's easy to forget the details of things that never happened.

I think this was only the UK versions of the DVDs. I have the US versions of them, and it isn't on there. I very vaguely remember the shrinkwrap for the DVDs having a starburst-shaped sticker on the front which maybe mentioned his name, but I suspect it probably mentioned something about CLAMP, which would definitely have been a bigger selling point for the DVD than Vic in 2007. Then again, it was over 10 years ago, so it's entirely possible I'm misremembering the sticker existing at all.

So TL;DR, Monica is a salty bitch about not getting top billing on Foreign Media.

Funimation is basically a hive of jealousy and backstabbing. More than one person wishes they were more popular and could sell stuff just by having their name on the box. They don't realise that Vic got to that point by being good at his job and humble towards his fans....Also being a hot Chad that looks 20 years younger than he is.

Id like to point out Rial is indeed following AWL footsteps as she is already uncredited in niche weeb games (Berseria). And I for one am all for the bang zoom dub cast to be the main one if Funi goes through a firing phase. I think Wendee Lee wouldn't destroy a man's career because she didn't get top billing as well.

Plus:
She is a treasure

Far as I can tell, Wendee Lee has kept her mouth shut and hasn’t sperged out about Vic probably because unlike Monica and Jamie she still has a job (When this war is over, those two bitches will join Mandy for some couch wine and cat parties) while keeping herself out of it as she’s not a moron.

Miu Iruma is hands down the best role Wendee has ever had in her career, and even if V3 recycled the voice actors from DR1 & SDR2 to play the characters she gave one hell of a performance alongside Derek Stephen Prince as Kokichi Ouma.
