The Awful Fursuit Thread - Viewer beware, you're in for a scare!

I got into the fandom around 9. Saw a Majira Strawberry vid and I was sold. Made a sona. Named her Sage Eragon. Gave it fukin rainbow hair. But I’ll be damned if I didn’t love her to death, I thought she was so cool. Used every color of the rainbow, one ear grey and orange the next opposite. Yellow chest fur. When it came time to make her real Didn’t have a plastic mannequin base to put it on, so used a teddy bear. Ye holy, so she existed. View attachment 847557
Eventually she fell into disrepair and I recycled the 30 dollar eyes and 15 dollar nose into the one I showed before.

How much power leveling are you planning to do today?

Surely, this isn't the easiest way for one to get halah'd around here. If I were you, I would leave while I still can.

>talks about how fandom is mostly young kids
>outs self as being under 13 or younger
>also a Kothorix fan

Hey kid, go outside or take up a new hobby. Because clearly you can't handle yourself online, especially if you can't even register rule 1 and fall for bait this easily. Im surprised your username isn't somehow linked to your other accounts but then again who knows!

Especially with those photos of you and your mom in that one fursuit pic, that's really dangerous. Especially on the farms of all places, we're like piranhas with that shit. Once something's online it's never going away no matter what you do so hopefully this is a valuable lesson. If you can't internet, don't. For yours and everyone else's sake.

Well this idiot has joined for the sake of a personal hugbox judging from the post history and their profile. You're being too generous this kid needs learn this is where those "adults who left the hobby after turning 25 because the fandom is filled with kids" come to play.

The lovely red head they posted, their "first fursuit", is a photo from July 2017 according to the metadata so yeah this is an actual child who's been going through the kero thread while his brother insults him on the way to mcd's.

It's not too bad, especially compared to most in this thread. The part I dislike is the beak. A puffin is famous for having a multi-colored beak, and removing that key feature makes it really hard to tell that this is a puffin.

Jesus those wings are baggy.
Also, I feel like if those ears(?) weren't on the sides of the head it would look more like a bird and less like a weird rabbit creature.

You'd think that somewhere in the process of learning how to make animal costumes you'd learn to fucking google the animal you're making this week.
Im pretty sure they have a single expanding foam mold that they use for every head they use and don't bother editing to fit different species. At most they’ll chop off half the muzzle and call it a cat.

The thing that really gets me is that OneFurAll has a ferret in their list from about 10 years ago that looks like a ferret. And that weasel they just finished doesn't really look like a weasel.

While there are makers that do this, the stronger ones will scrap a base to create additional molds modified to reflect other popular species they expect to receive commissions for. But OneFurAll's chronic Same Face Syndrome speaks to this not being the case.

To me, the same face would be fine with a few tweaks but the fact that every single one of them has that same smug look is the worst and deserving for every single one of them to get scrapped and made into something with a unique facial expression

I have no idea as to what this is supposed to be... it has feathers, fur, a bell, an eye patch(?), not sure if the white things are supposed to be gloves? It looks like the OP just grabbed a bunch of arts and crafts scraps, threw it together, and had someone with Parkinson's sew it up. At least OP claims they are proud of this wonky shit.
