Exactly. Or as Santayana said:Fanatics do not question their actions or do things in moderation.
It's kinda of the defining trait of Fanatics.
"A fanatic is one who redoubles his effort when he has forgotten his aim."

Even more hilarious since the mainstream media is just straight-up calling the "go back and fix your own countries" tweets racist in the headlines. It's always hilarious to read comments on stories about how Trump's approval rating is creeping up.
Invariably the reason given is that the media is not properly holding him accountable and that they beat around the bush with euphemisms like 'racially charged' instead of flat out calling him 'racist.'
I'm over here thinking to myself, 'Y'all really think his numbers are rising because the media doesn't call him racist enough?' As usual they've got it almost bass ackwards. The more they cry racism, the more people tune them out, the more the Trump's accomplishments can speak for themselves and the higher his numbers go.
Less is more is not a thought that crosses their minds. Not even once. Why is the left the same everywhere? Over in Britain they're dealing with Boris Derangement Syndrome. If not for Trump Derangement Syndrome coverage of him would be unprecedented and the most hostile in the world.

Mix in some Secular Millenarianism, every setback is temporary and the Righteous will be rewarded whenJudgement Daythe End of History comes, and Secular Manichaeism, extreme black and white thinking, oppressed vs. oppressor, Good vs. Evil.
And voila you have modern Liberalism.
Of course to paraphrase the Bible "Don't worship men and manmade ideologies. They are fallible and mortal and they will disappoint you."
Goes a long way to explaining why Leftists are so miserable. And why they don't understand the other side and it's rising approval ratings.
Oh absolutely. It's one of the reason why a lot of people joke about how the whole Social Justice Movement has become a replacement for religion for the lunatic left and how death kult-like it has become.
It's really kind of twistedly ironic that if they just believed in God, they would make outstanding Evangelicals. They would put Billy Graham and Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson to shame. It's one of the reason why a lot of people joke about how the whole Social Justice Movement has become a replacement for religion for the lunatic left and how death kult-like it has become.
That's Stephen King's kid, right?I got nothing.

I also see jokes about how in the 96 Olympic guide Olive Garden was listed as the best Italian food in Atlanta. Be sure to bring it up whenever your favored sports team plays a team from Atlanta. The hate for Olive Garden began when the chain started it's first major nation-wide ad campaign in the late 90s. It both shilled Olive Garden as an "authentic Italian cuisine" restaurant while at the same time, shilling itself for cheapskates by way of the "unlimited appetizers" sales ploy to lure people in.
It was crass and produced mix messages about what kind of joint they were, especially since in those early years they leaned heavy onto the former to sell Olive Garden to the masses who didn't know much/very little about Italian cuisine.
Mad TV did a really good send up of Olive Garden and it's weird fixation of trying to pass itself as both classy and working class friendly.

I know that the school I went to in Ontario was throwing around terms like "Global citizen" back in c. 2008 in 7th grade classes. So they might be hoping that kids remembered and gave a shit and will vote en masse for policies that effectively turn the entire world into a single country. After which countries having borders will be taught as a historical aberration that persisted for about a century before everyone saw reason and dispensed with it.That's pretty insanely blatant yeah, as well as the shift from "undocumented immigrants" to "undocumented citizens". That's beyond open borders to sheer conspiracy theorist grade globalist.
I thought Horns was decent.Yes although unlike his father he's never written a good book.
No theyre bitching because those nasty alt-righters that are totally under everybody's bed will talk about either (((rootless cosmopolitans))), or use the same term for bugmen instead.I also see jokes about how in the 96 Olympic guide Olive Garden was listed as the best Italian food in Atlanta. Im pretty sure IHeartRadio had some music fesrtval a year or two ago in NYC tied in with some app and info about volunteering and shit and they called it the Global Citizen Festival/app. The boy- er sorry "Scouts BSA" also has a global citizen merit badge.I know that the school I went to in Ontario was throwing around terms like "Global citizen" back in c. 2008 in 7th grade classes. Given that he's Canada's only notable public intellectual until JP, I've actually heard of it. It's actually a reference to how mass media and electronic communication makes the world seem smaller and a good explanation for why non-Americans are so riddled with TDS. Not sure if McLuhan pointed out that it's actually possible to know everyone in a village, unlike the globe, and the intense fragmentation that key difference implies.I also heard of another term called "Global Village" attributed to some crackpot or weirdo named Marshall McLuhan. I guess it fits "Global citizen" as well.
