If I had to guess, being overly paranoid. They get a notice when someone new follows them and they are probably blocking newly created or accounts with barely any followers or followings.

Sorry, I'm an idiot. I just went over all this on my Twitter and my first comment to a KVer was a reply to a guy who was discussing the Vic case and in my comment I asked him about being detached from reality. I made a few more comments in that thread but I assure you, it was all in good fun--I even had a nice back and forth with someone I've now realized seems to find their way into Twitter screenshots in the Weeb Wars threads on the regular. Do these people really just block everyone they see who has even the slightest difference of opinion? Anywho, thanks for helping me figure this out and I duly apologize to the mod who's going to delete this.

I've had no Twitter interactions at all with KVers and I'm suddenly finding myself blocked by accounts I wasn't even following. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm following Nick and Ty.

You were probably added to a blockbot that they are using. Most likely based on either who you follow or manually added for one reason or another.
